Fencing wasn't your thing but you wanted to take this opportunity to improve your skills with your staff. So once Adrien had texted you to try out for the last spot for his fencing class, you accepted it. Now you were at the school's locker room, finding out which helmet would fit you perfectly.

You put a specific helmet that titled slightly once you had put it on, signaling you that it was too big.

"You look funny." Plagg coughed out, though you heard him perfectly. You removed the helmet and glared at him when he had laughed at you. 

Eventually it was time to leave the locker room and head back to the courtyard, where the team was headed for the playoffs. You stood there awkwardly, glancing everywhere to find Adrien for some last minute pointers.

"I am the fencing master, Mr. D'Argencourt. As I'm sure you're aware, we only have one open spot on the team this year. So, in order to select the best possible candidate, I will observe the beginners' performing a number of attacks from the experienced students." He announced, pacing around the courtyard until he stood in front of the said experienced students.

"Get into position." He added, signaling them to move forward.

You remained silent for a moment longer, glancing around the courtyard hopelessly until Adrien finally decided to show up.

"Looking for someone?" A voice spoke, startling you slightly. You rolled your eyes playfully at the way Adrien believed he was being sneaky at the moment.

"There you are, Adrien. Teach me something before I get my ass kicked." You muttered, getting into a ridiculous position shortly afterwards. He only laughed for a moment before he explained to you what you needed to do.

"Bend your knees then stretch your left foot back, turn downwards." You did what you were told, fixing your previous position to what you were now ordered to do, "Perfect."

You readied your saber and he did as well, pointing it at one another. At the teacher's call, Adrien immediately lunged at you and fortunately, you managed to dodge it before his saber could touch you. Instead your saber had touched his chest first before he could touch you.

"And you haven't played before?" Adrien asked, tilting his head slightly once he removed his helmet.

"Uh, no." You had experienced these things with your alter ego, but it didn't really make you any better at fencing.

Adrien hummed, nodding his head. "Well you have good reflexes."

Adrien placed his helmet back on and once again got back in his position, pointing his saber at you. You did the same, and took a step backward to get your helmet back on again yourself.
