As promised, Jenna Weasley was at the train station waiting for her daughter to return home for the summer. But this time she arrived with a large black dog to receive her daughter.

Kiara saw her mother and Padfoot waiting from her cabin window. Padfoot sat politely beside Jenna, wagging his tail. Sirius had waited thirteen years for that day to pick up and drop off his child on Platform 9 ¾ like most wizard parents. He had missed a lot and he was ready to make up for lost times.

Kiara stepped off the Hogwarts' Express, holding Cedric's hand. His parents were waiting with Arthur and Molly. Jenna waved Kiara and Cedric over and the two of them joined Kiara's parents after saying bye to their friends.

"Hi, Mum!" Kiara grinned, hugging her, before pulling away to hug Padfoot.

"Cedric! Nice to see you again. I hear congratulations are in order," Jenna said to him, smiling big.

Cedric hugged her and smiled back, "Thank you."

"We'll have to have you over for dinner to celebrate. Bring your parents too," Jenna told him.

"Speaking of my parents," Cedric said slowly before waving his parents over. Amos and Cynthia Diggory made their way to their son. Cedric introduced everyone, "Mum, Dad, this is Mrs. Black, Kiara's mum and...their dog...?"

"Padfoot," Kiara offered, smiling. Jenna gave her a small wink and Kiara could immediately see the difference in her mother. Jenna was more relaxed and freer than her usual self. Time off from work and hiding out with Sirius was good for her.

"Nice to meet you," Mrs. Diggory smiled, shaking Jenna's hand.

"I was just telling Cedric that we would love to host a celebratory dinner for him and have you all over. We can get to know each other better as well," Jenna restated.

"We just might have to, seeing the kids are inseparable," Amos chuckled loudly.

"Oh, good, everyone's here," Remus joined them with his luggage in tow and followed by the Weasleys. Kiara noticed Remus eyeing Padfoot and smirking to himself, before patting Padfoot's head. Padfoot did not appreciate that.

"So I guess I'll see you soon," Cedric told Kiara.

"I think our mums hit it off," Kiara laughed, "and I hate that we have to be apart for the break."

"We'll see each other as often as we can. I'm not going anywhere," Cedric promised, cupping her face in his hands.

"I never want to see you go into a maze ever again," Kiara told him pointedly.

"Me neither," Amos agreed, obviously listening into their conversation.

Cedric chuckled lowly, before kissing Kiara, "I love you."

"I love you too," she replied.

"Cedric, we should get going," his mum said, regretfully, not wanting to break the two of them apart.

Kiara smiled at him, "Go on. I'll see you soon."

Cedric said his goodbyes before he followed his parents. Kiara hugged Remus and ask him, "Are you coming home with us?"

"Of course he is," Jenna answered for Remus just as Harry and Ron joined the group. Jenna smiled at them, "And so is Harry."

Kiara was not expecting that. At least not so soon. She knew things would be different with her father back.
