All Kiara could think about was her date with Cedric. She pulled on a pair of faded jeans and a pumpkin-colored sweater with a white jacket on top. Her hair was pulled back into a high ponytail and she rushed to do her makeup. She was zipping up her boots, when Morgan walked in.

"Hey!" she greeted Kiara, "Cedric's outside the Common Room," Morgan gave Kiara a once over, "You look...comfy."

Kiara groaned, "Should I change? I don't have time and it's cold and I don't know what he has planned and I don't know what to wear."

Morgan laughed, "Slow down. You look great. And no, you don't have time."

Kiara's eyes widened as she stood up, "Are you sure I look okay?"

"You look amazing," she confirmed before turning her around and pushing her out of the room, "don't keep the poor guy waiting."

Kiara headed down and left the Gryffindor Tower to find Cedric standing outside as Morgan promised. He seemed to be deep in conversation with Harry when Kiara stepped out.

Cedric looked up when he heard the door open and smiled beautifully, "Hey gorgeous."

"Hey," Kiara smiled at him before nodding at Harry.

"Well, I should head over to Lupin's. See ya around," Harry told them and left quickly.

"You clean up nice," she commented. He was wearing jeans like her, but with a yellow hoodie. This was the most casual she had seen Cedric and she loved it.

"Thank you. You look great yourself," he said, placing a kiss on her cheek before saying, "I hope you're ready. I'm glad you chose that outfit to wear because we're going to have a fun day," he promised, offering his arm. She took it and let him lead the way.

They left the school to go down by the lake, where Cedric took out his wand. He glanced around before pointing it somewhere on the water, "Accio!"

It took a moment before a little boat appeared and Kiara gasped, "How...how'd you know there was a boat here?"

He grinned back at her, "I put it here."

"How did you bring a boat to school?" she questioned him.

He chuckled, "I didn't. I made it here on my free time. I come down here to clear my head."

The boat reached them and Cedric helped her in before climbing in himself. He used the ore to push them out into the water.

Kiara laughed, throwing her head back to look up at the midday sky, "This is beautiful."

"I've been wanting to bring you out here for the longest time. I thought you'd enjoy this for a first date," he said softly. It was so quiet out there. There was the water, the trees in the distance, and the two of them.

"This is really special, thank you," she told him, genuinely.

"I'm glad," he smiled big. He was gorgeous and she couldn't get over it. She just wanted to reach over and touch his face. This was the best date she had ever been on.

"I have to ask," she started and he nodded, "have you brought anyone else out here?"

His face dropped slightly before he answered her, "Just one other girl and it wasn't a first date..." Kiara accepted his honesty. She didn't have to like it, but she was not surprised. There was only so much one could do while at Hogwarts, and Cedric had this boat. Of course, he'd use it to his advantage. She felt him watching her, before he added, "but I've never taken her where I'm about to take you."

Kiara looked back at him, "Oh?"

He nodded, "Yeah, I told you, I got a whole day planned for us...well until I have to get back for dinner."
