Chapter 19

I sat at a desk at school. Scarlett's was empty. She had texted me saying she was hunting with Dean. Hunting monsters. That's still weird. I noticed eyes on me and I looked over to see the new kid looking at me. He dodged his eyes. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. I smiled and went back to my work knowing he wasn't a threat just a bit with a crush. After class he walked over to me. "Hey." I smiled at him. "Hey." he replied. "So, uh, my names Jake and I'm new here, obviously, so I was wondering if maybe we could you know hang out I kind of need someone to show me around the city and you seem nice..." he trailed off. I smiled "I'd love to show you around, Jake. I'm actually free tonight." I stated. "Oh really? Great, so it's a date then." then he realized what he had said "I mean not a date obviously but-" I stopped him "It's a date." I said smiling. He reminded me of Felicity. I wrote my address and phone number on a piece of paper and handed it to him. "Pick me up at 7." I smiled and walked to my next class.
As soon as I got home I went to Thea's room. "Thea!" I said knocking. "Come in." She replied. She was at the computer scrolling through Twitter. She turned to me. "Hey Meg." She said smiling. "Hey." I replied. "What's up?" She asked. "I need an outfit." I said. "Okay for what?" she asked getting up and walking to her walk in closet. "A date..." I said. she turned and grinned. "Oh my gosh Megan yes! Is he cute?" She asked. I shrugged and showed her the pic he sent me to make his contact pic on my phone. "He is cute." she said. Then she handed my phone back and clapped her hands "So what kind of date? Dinner and a movie?" she asked. "Dinner and a tour of town." I replied. "Alright so something comfortable for you to walk around in she said going through stuff. She gave me a pair of miss me jeans, a blue tank top, and black and white striped flats. Then she painted my nails Navy blue and curled my hair. I smiled when I looked in the mirror. "Thanks Thea." I stated. "Any time. Now it's 6:58 he'll be here any minute." She said following me downstairs. I stuffed my phone in my pocket and the doorbell rang. "Who's here?" Oliver asked coming around the stair case. "Megan's date." Thea squealed. "What?!" Oliver asked. Thea and I giggled and I opened the door. "Hey Jake." I said smiling. "Hey Megan. You ready?" he asked. I nodded and we left.
The date was so much fun we ate and talked at dinner and learned about each other and it was great. Then we walked around town and we ended up seeing a movie even though we wernt originally. Of course I kept Thea updated through out the date. That way she could tell Oliver what he needed to know so he didn't get upset and so she could know what was going on. Jake was really sweet.
He walked me up to my door.
"Alright, so I'll see you on Monday?" he asked. I nodded.
"Bye." I kissed him on the cheek making him blush and he left. I walked through the door smiling like an idiot. It was 11:30. We were out for four and a half hours. Wow.
"So how did it go?" Thea asked jumping up from the couch where she and Oliver were watching TV.
"Great." I said smiling.
"I can't tell." she said. I laughed.
"Well, I'm gonna go to bed. Night Thea night Oliver!" I called walking up the staircase.
"Goodnight!" they called back. I went to my bed and pulled out my phone texting Scarlett.
Megan: I just went on a date
Scarlett: Ooh How'd it go?
Megan: great he was so awesome
Scarlett: I want a pic
Megan: *picture*
Scarlett: oh my gosh. He's Haaaawt
Megan: lol night!
Scarlett: night!
I smiled and then drifted of to sleep

I am so so so so so so sorry!!! I am getting so bad at updating and thus Chapter was so short but I promise I am going to get back into this book and the next chapter will be longer!!!
