Sundari sighed as she was handed a list of chores by the head maid, an old lady with a strict look on her face. She had been assigned to be the King's personal maid, and she was not exactly thrilled about it.

The old maid handed her the list and said, "Make sure you do all of these chores properly. The King is very particular about his things."

AsSundari glanced over the list, she knew there was no way she wanted tobecome the King's personal maid. She thought to herself, "If I keepmessing up these chores, maybe the King will drop the idea of making me hispersonal maid and send me off to be a gardener instead."

Sundari began her chores with gusto, almost as if she was trying to sabotage each task she was assigned to do. She started off by dusting the King's chambers, but she ended up breaking some of his priceless vases as she was too vigorous in her dusting. The old maid was on the verge of fainting as she watched Sundari's bumbling attempts to do her chores. She was now worried about what she was going to say to the King when he found out about the broken vases.

Sundari grinned to herself as she set to work on the list of chores. She began dusting the King's chambers and purposely dropped a vase.

The old maid saw this and gasped, her eyes widening in horror. "What are you doing?" she exclaimed. "You need to be careful with the King's things!"

Sundari shrugged, "Oops, my bad. I'll be more careful next time."

The old maid shook her head and continued to watch Sundari as she worked. Sundari feigned innocence, "I'm sorry, I guess I got a little carried away."

Next, Sundari was assigned to cook for the King. She nervously entered the kitchen and started to prepare the meal.

Sundari then decided to try her hand at cooking for the King. She lit the stove, but soon the kitchen was filled with smoke.

The old maid was now in a state of panic as she tried to put out the fire. She frantically shouted, "Sundari, you must learn to be more careful! The King will be furious if he finds out about this mess!"

The old maid groaned and ran to open the windows. "What were you thinking!" she shouted. "This is not the way to make food for the King!"

Sundari then moved on to the next task: washing the King's clothes. She took the laundry to the nearby river and started to wash them, but the current was too strong and the clothes were swept away in the water.

The old maid was now in a state of despair as she watched the clothes float away. She said to Sundari, "This is too much! I don't know what the King is going to say when he finds out about this disaster!"

Sundari was now feeling guilty for her blunders and she knew she had to think of a way to fix the situation. She quickly ran after the clothes and managed to retrieve them from the river, but they were now soaked and damaged. She rushed back to the castle and said to the old maid, "Don't worry, I've managed to get the clothes back. I'll just have to think of a way to mend them before the King finds out!"

As the days went on, the old maid observed Sundari with a weary eye. No matter how hard she tried, Sundari just couldn't seem to get anything right. Every task she was given ended in disaster. From the broken vase to the ruined clothes, the old maid was starting to lose hope in her new charge. She'd spent countless hours teaching Sundari the basics of being a maid, but it seemed like she was determined to mess everything up.

Sundari would always apologize with a big smile, but the old maid knew that it wasn't enough to make up for the messes she made. She watched as Sundari tried to mend the clothes she had ruined, but her attempts were futile. The old maid shook her head and sighed.
