Chapter 11

Meerab looked at Murtasim. She did not understand anything and did not have the courage to ask. She suspected that something terrible was about to happen. She looked at Sejan and Sejan kept his head down. Not only Sejan but everyone else was bowing their heads.

Meerab looked at Murtasim. She swallowed and asked,
"Where are we?"

Looking at Meerab, Murtasim tightened his jaw and said,
"Welcome to my HELL."

Meerab's chest trembled. She said in a trembling voice,
"Hell!"

Her body was trembling. Murtasim grabbed her arms and said,
"What did I tell you? I will accept whatever you do. But don't deceive me. I can't stand deception at all."

Meerab mumbled and said,
"Deception?"

Murtasim pressed her hand more harder and said,
"Yes, deception. I would have tolerated you stabbing me from the front. But you stabbed me from the back. How do you know Zarif? What is your relationship with him?"

"Who's Zarif? I don't know him." Meerab said.

Murtasim grabbed her by her throat and said,
"You don't know Zarif? In the morning, what were you doing with Zarif's man downstairs in the office?

Why did he hug you??

What did you talk to him about??

What did you tell him???

What information were you giving him???

I wanted to start a family by loving and marrying an orphan girl like you. But you have paid a lot for it for so long.

Now I will pay for it!!

And that is DEATH.
Terrible death!!"

Meerab was trying to remove Murtasim's hand from her throat. She could not breathe. It looked like she was going to die. Murtasim was not taking his hand away from her throat. He suddenly left her throat and she fell to the floor.

Meerab gasped. She began to took deep breath. Murtasim picked her up, made her stand up and said,
"Why did you do that? Kya kami rakkha tha maine? Why did you deceive me so much?"

Meerab cried and said,
"Areh what are you saying? I didn't do anything. I don't know him. I don't even know who Zarif is. Trust me."

"You're acting? Don't act. He said it himself." Murtasim said.

Meerab was pleading.
"Trust me. I'm not lying. He lied to you. It's definitely a conspiracy."

Murtasim gestured to his men. As they approached, Meerab shouted,
"Don't touch me at all. Beware!"

Holding Meerab's hand, Murtasim was dragging her to another room. Meerab repeatedly asked him to listen to her but he did not listen to her. He brought her in front of a cage. Meerab screamed as Murtasim removed the curtain from the cage.

Murtasim pointed to the caged tiger and said,
"This is the punishment of characterless, of deception."

Meerab was holding Murtasim hand, screaming in fear and crying. She kept saying in tears,
"They're trapping me. Maine sachme kuch nhi kiya."

There were tears in the corner of Murtasim's eyes. Sejan was looking at Murtasim. He has known Murtasim for many years. No one knows Murtasim better than him.

When Murtasim punishes someone, he has satisfaction in his eyes!!
There stays a demonic smile on the corner of his lips!!!

But today his face is pale!!!
Pain has appeared in his eyes!!
He was having a hard time punishing his beloved wife.
