Chapter 36

Murtasim pointed the revolver at Shaan and said,
"You have played a lot of games with your sister and me. This time your game is over. It's time to unmask yourself to the world. It's time to pay for your sins. Enjoy the property and power for which you killed your elder brother in jail. Come on."

Meerab was standing behind Murtasim. Shaan was looking left and right with narrowed eyes. If he get caught himself now, he would not be able to live. So he had to escape anyway.

Shaan was moving towards him as Murtasim said. Taking two steps forward, he knocked the front glass T-table and threw it towards Murtasim. As the T-table fell on Murtasim's feet, Murtasim leaned gently and the revolver fell from his hand.

Meerab too bumped into Murtasim and fell behind. At this opportunity Shaan ran up. Murtasim took Meerab by the hand and picked up the revolver from the floor and went behind Shaan. Meerab was also following him. Suddenly Murtasim stopped.

Meerab saw Murtasim stop and asked,
"What happened! Why did you stop?"

"You stay here. Shaan is planning something. Why else would he go upstairs? He's going to escape through the door."

Meerab also thought so but was serious about going with Murtasim. Then the two of them were slowly going up. Meerab showed Shaan's room. The door of his room was closed. Murtasim kept the revolver in position and tried to open the door. But the door was not opening.

Murtasim looked at Meerab and said,
"Locked from the inside. What is he doing locked inside?"

Meerab furrowed her brow and bit her lip thinking about something and said, "Break down the door."

Murtasim knocked on the door several times. Meerab suddenly said,
"Did he escape through the balcony?"

After listening to her, Murtasim slammed the door for the last time and it opened. He entered slowly very carefully followed by Meerab. There was no one inside. The cupboard was open. The clothes were lying haphazardly. Meerab noticed that the bedside drawer was also open. They heard the sound of the car and ran to the balcony. A car sped away from the house.

Meerab said anxiously,
"Bhai has run away. He has taken essentials from the house. He must be followed."

Meerab and Murtasim came down as fast as they could. They started the car and started looking for Shaan's car. Murtasim was driving at full speed.
"Meerab, call Sejan and put the call on the loudspeaker. We need his help."

"Okay."
Meerab quickly called Sejan and put the call on loudspeaker. Murtasim said what he needed and concentrated on driving again.

After two long hours they got to know Shaan's location. Shaan took cover in a forest. Shaan's plan was to leave this city at night and then leave the country very quickly. He was leaning on the car. He was bored in this forest.

In the evening, the birds were coming and the insects were calling. Mosquitoes were also biting. Now he had no choice but to wait here. He will be able to get out of here as soon as it gets dark. He was calling someone. He was suddenly alerted by the sound of a car coming. He listened to the direction from which the car was coming. Then there was no sound of the car. The car seemed to stop. It means that those who came got down from the car. Shaan must be careful. He moved from the front of the car.

Murtasim did not let Meerab get out of the car. It was not safe in this forest. Shaan must have been hiding. He can do everything for his interests. Meerab can also be shot. Murtasim will not be able to take the risk of Meerab's life. Murtasim locked the car door when Meerab insisted to get down. Meerab was panting in anger.

Murtasim was looking for Shaan with two or three guards along with Sejan. They had left one person under the guard of Meerab. They entered the forest and searched for Shaan. Shaan's car was found but Shaan was nowhere to be found. They scattered and searched around the car. But Shaan was nowhere to be found.
