After Murtasim went to the office, Meerab went to Mizan uncle. Mizan uncle saw Meerab and understood why she had come and what she had come to ask. Yet he said,
"Maa, you want to say something?"

Meerab said hesitantly,
"Yes, uncle. I want to know about Murtasim."

"What do you want to know?"

"I want to know about his family, childhood."

Mizan uncle looked down. Then looking at the other way and he said,
"I can't say anything about his past, his childhood, his parents."

"Murtasim is my husband, I have rights."

"Murtasim baba will tell you the day he thinks he should. You be patient."

"No, I can't. Murtasim's weird behavior is bothering me. If you don't tell me I'll ask Murtasim myself. He might get angry, react or put his hand on me. Still I will ask."

Meerab looked at Mizan uncle sideways. There was fear and apprehension in his eyes!!

"No maa. Don't go to ask. He'll be angry."

"Then you tell me. I promise I won't ask him anything until he says it himself. If I don't know, how can I help him and understand his problem?"

Uncle thought for a while. Meerab thought to herself that her work might have been done. Uncle took Meerab to his room. Then he began to say,

"Murtasim baba was very cheerful, calm, humble in his childhood. His father taught him to be humble. Murtasim's father Miraj sir himself was very humble, he was a very good man. He loved his wife very much but suddenly she died. Then he did not get married.

Sir has nurtured Murtasim himself. Sir used to stay with Murtasim baba. Sir would take Murtasim baba abroad for business and would also take him to the office. But after Murtasim was admitted to the school, the problem increased. If there was a Guardian meeting at his school, it could be seen that Sir had a meeting that day. If Murtasim had a test, sir would have to go abroad.

He would not go abroad without Murtasim and this would cause a lot of loss to the business. He could not keep pace with both sides. He felt that Murtasim needed a mother but he did not want to get married. After his friend Latif Saheb persuaded him a lot, he agreed to get married.

Sir married Latif Saheb's cousin and brought her home. At that time Murtasim baba was eight years old. Although Madam loved Murtasim for the first time, she could not tolerate him later.

Besides, there were constant quarrels between Sir and Madam. I don't know what the quarrel was about. But Sir seemed to be silent. He would meditate on something all the time and when I asked, he would say 'Nothing'. He couldn't even look at Murtasim.

Suddenly one day Murtasim Baba came to me panting and sweating profusely. He was trying to say something but could not and fell unconscious. I called the doctor. By then he had a fever. The doctor said he was scared seeing anything.

As soon as the doctor stepped up to leave, we heard screams. Everyone ran to Sir's room and saw that sir was hanging on the fan. The police came and Madam told the police that Sir had been silent for a long time. If she asked him anything, he would not say anything and if she insisted, he would start arguing.

Then Sir was buried and the police did not come again.

There was no sign of Murtasim's fever subsiding. He stayed in bed for seven days. He did not know about his father's death or burial. Madam did not look for him. Seven days later, one morning he opened his eyes and said,"Dad!"

I calmed him down and told him that Sir had gone to the office and would return at night. And I told him to sleep. He fell asleep. In the afternoon his fever got better. He cried and said, 'They killed my Dad.'
