Murtasim glared at Meerab and asked,
"You were supposed to be married to Rocky?"

Meerab could not understand why he was asking these things. She said softly,
"Yes, Sajjad Bhaia wanted."

Murtasim said sarcastically.
"That's why he was in such a hurry to kill me."

Meerab was silent. Murtasim then pulled Meerab's hair and said,
"You should be punished twice. You cheated one and married another. Girls like you can stoop too low for self-interest. Can leave a man and marry another man. Can fake love, give away their bodies to control. Chhih!! I would show you your place. Survived only for the child."

Meerab looked around beyond herself. Her head was burning. The servants around were looking at them. In fear, they quickly looked away and went into hiding.

Murtasim understood that and said,
"Let everyone know how low you are, what is your character."

Meerab got angry and said,
"What character is mine? Huh? Rocky is Shaan Bhai's friend. Sajjad Bhaia preferred him for me. Said to meet with Rocky after returning home. If I like him, Sajjad Bhaia will talk about marriage. "Yes, I am a murderer. I kill. I have done enough. I will punish those who harm me, covet my things, deceive me. And their punishment is death." Murtasim angrily said.

Meerab asked with teary eyes,
"What did my brother do?"

Murtasim narrowed his eyes and said with some irritation,
"How many times will I say that I did not kill them. Why should I kill Sajjad Chowdhury? He was my business partner. He was a very good hearted person. Did business with honesty. What will I have trouble with him? He died in a car accident. Why me, no one can kill him. I never denied killing so many people but why should I lie about him? What am I afraid of? I am not afraid of you, your brother, your lover. And it is not that I will lie for fear of ruining my good relationship with you. So why? If after all this you think I killed, then be happy to think so. Disgusting!”

Murtasim threw his phone on the table and left. Meerab could not understand anything. Was Murtasim telling the truth or lying? She thought that Murtasim had displaced her brother to take over the entire business.
