WE ALSO WANT TO CLARIFY THAT ALBATROSS DOESN'T HAVE ANIMUS MAGIC SINCE HE'S KINDA DEAD-
________________________________________________________________________________There was a moment of awkward silence, as Gardevoir was hyperventilating over the fact Tango just asked that.
The Blueish-grey dragon sighed, flicking his tail. Tango quivered in fear, it felt as if she was waiting for death itself to knock on her door.
"Well..yes, I am-" Gardevoir cut him off with a fearful squeak, the Leafwings plant enthusiasm from earlier was clearly gone. "But, I can't really harm you since..well i'm dead."
It's really good reasoning, I can give him that.
Tango took a moment to process that, "U-uhm, y-yeah that makes sense I guess" she was trying her best to be the braver one between Gardevoir & her. More awkward silence took up the next few minutes, before Tango spoke again.
"Well we w-were just on our w-way.." The Rainwings scales shifted into a light green, which seemed to be more common. Albatross nodded sadly, but glanced down at Tango's bracelet.
"What spell is on that bracelet?" He asked, sounding intrigued as he examined in best he could from the fearful positions of the two dragonets. Tango arched a brow, "spell? There's no spell on it, m friend Peacemaker-" she paused.
Peacemaker.
Did he Enchant her!? That would explain why she had worried less since they entered the palace, & why she dismissed Peacemakers magic after he had given the bracelet to her.Her scales shifted into an deep shade of indigo. Peacemaker had tried to reverse her feelings...her FEELINGS. She felt betrayed in every way.
Albatross stared at her, but didn't continue to push his question. "If you'd like me to remove the enchantment, I could. I can't actually enchant new objects, but altering spells is easy enough."
Tango stared, "y-you'd do that? For some random dragon trespasser?" Albatross nodded, "It's the least I can do, it's been very lonely here. Might as well help others instead of stab them while watching the blood flow out and-"
Gardevoir whimpered, tears welling in her eyes. Albatross blinked, "Uhm, you get the idea." He then put his claw on Tango's bracelet, "I enchant this bracelet to have zero effects on it's holder."
Tango suddenly felt a lot more nervous, & a lot more angry at Peacemaker. "Thank y-you" she said, nodding her head at Albatross. The spirit shrugged, "not a problem."
They approached the large pool of water from which they came, & the spirit submerged himself. Is Albatross more comfortable in water, even though he's dead? Tango made a mental note of that for later.
"You'd best be off, then" spoke Albatross, who sounded like a wounded animal.
The two nodded, wading into the water. "Will you still be here? Like, forever?" asked Tango as the floor beneath her feet was replaced by the cold water. Albatross nodded, "probably. I would visit you, but there was never a dream visitor made for the Seawings."
Tango frowned, she still felt bad for the mass murderer, who was really just a neglected dragon. "I'll come back, maybe not this week- or year, but one day." Albatross smiled, "I'll take your word for it, I suppose."
