To Tango's utter surprise, School became normal for once. Sort of.

Sandstorm stopped talking with the Winglet, (thought Striker was an exception) & it was clear she didn't trust Tango.

Thankfully, Tango didn't have to deal with the awkwardness, since it was time for Herbology.

The Amethyst Winglet walked into the classroom, Gardevoir chattering (for once) about her fascination in plants, specifically the carnivorous ones.

Neptune arched a brow at the Leafwing, then whispered to Tango, "any idea if this is normal for a Leafwing?" Tango shrugged, having zero clue.

"I mean, they did live in the jungle for awhile, so it would make sense I guess?" she said, uncertain. Neptune glanced at Gardevoir once more before sighing, "thanks."

They shuffled to the right side of the classroom, & Tango noticed a slim, elegant looking Icewing examining plants. The Emerald Winglet shuffled in loudly, & the Icewing perked up.

She smiled as they all sat down, walking to the front of the class.

Wait, is this our teacher? Where did our old one go? Tango questioned herself. She wondered how an Icewing would be qualified for this, considering they lived in a frigid tundra with little life.

"Hello there!" she said warmly, spreading her wings in welcome, "I'm your new teacher, Princess Beira. Oh but uh, Beira for short."

Tango's eyes widened, & the rest of the class shared a similar feeling as murmurs spread. She glanced at Frostburn, who seemed less in awe. It made sense, considering he was an Icewing.

Giggling could be heard from the Emerald Winglet, & Tango realized another Icewing Princess was in the room, Princess Snowbank. It seemed like a coincidence.

"Now, just because I'm somewhat royal doesn't mean you should treat me different than your other teachers" Beira spoke in a comforting tone. She folded her wings in, the warm smile on her face remained. "In fact, I somewhat regret telling you that."

Tango shifted in her seat, the greenhouse they were in was quite sunny, which caused her to feel a bit tired. Old habits. She went to look at Gardevoir once more, to ask about a plant, but the Leafwing wasn't there.

She arched a brow, huh? She looked around the rest of the room, & finally spotted Gardevoir by an odd looking plant that had an oyster shape.

Beira noticed & chuckled, walking over to Gardevoir. "You're Gardevoir, right?" She asked, grinning, "I've heard all about your work on Pantala! When I heard you were attending the school, I was so confused!" Beira explained, grinning, "I didn't realize you were a dragonet!"

Gardevoir's face flushed out of embarrassment, & Tango felt like a proud mom for a moment, but what had she done on Pantala? Something plant related, maybe? It must be special if the princess likes it.

After the class had actually started, Snowbank seemed to be bugging Gardevoir. "So how did you even grow all that stuff on Pantala! It's amazing! Do you have some kind of secret? Oh my Icicles, TELL ME!" she said, her tone feeling a bit pushy. Tango frowned, she had heard good things about Snowbank, what was this?

She was about to go over & confront the royal figure, but Striker got there first.

Tango didn't know much about Striker, other than the fact Striker's family had adopted Gardevoir, & that he rarely talked. Oh, & that he was TERRIFYING.
