Tango's Suspicion

A/N: Tony spelled backwards is pretty much Y Not, that explains all you need to know about him. Also I've gotten a few DM's from my friend IRL who reads the story, & she asked me why Im (C) associating Tony Stark with Tango's story. 

Well in short, Tony Stark is who Tango want's to be. A Brave fearless leader who's intelligent enough to save her friends, & maybe the whole universe if were being strictly Marvel. So yeah C:

Wasn't sure if this chapter should be subtle or not tbh, were nearing the end of book 1 though so...

Alr one more thing before you go, do you want me & Willow to release the Canon relationships between characters (only from Tango for now) at some point? Maybe as a celebration for 40 FRIKIN FOLLOWERS!? WERE ONLY 5 AWAY!! :D

As they arrived awkwardly in class, Mayfly arched a brow. "You're late. All three of you." They said with a frown.

Mayfly reminded Tango of how Tsunami described her old teacher, Kestrel. Annoyingly grumpy, harsh, & with zero tolerance for failure.

Tango grit her teeth, "Sorry Mayfly." The Hivewing narrowed their eyes, "I'm not as concerned about you, Rainwing, just those other two." Mayfly was referring to Frostburn & Peacemaker, & the Icewing scoffed in response.

"Well let's not dilly dally," Mayfly said with a sigh, exhaustion hinted in how heavy it was, "and for Clearsights sake, Fateshifter, don't just chat the whole time."

A snicker could be heard from the back, & Tango turned to see a deep purple Nightwing with one blind eye, the other looking like a soft green color. 

Tango had heard of Fateshifter. She was apparently the daughter of Starflight & Fatespeaker, which made more sense now that Tango had seen her appearance.

"Don't worry, she won't." Said a purple Hivewing with webbed talons, his voice was similar to a teachers. "Thank you, Nox," Mayfly said with a sigh. 

Mayfly spread their wings, leaping out of the open space in the Hunting cave first, followed by Striker, Quill, Nox, Fateshifter, & everybody else. Tango was the last to leave the cave, wondering where Swallow was. It wasn't like she could fly.

She continued to look around before she saw rustling in the tree's below, Swallow was leaping gracefully between them.

And I thought Rainwings were good at that... Tango thought, watching as Swallow somehow kept up with the group from the ground.

"Oh, right.." Mayfly grumbled, "I forgot about our Wingless friend. Stay here." They suddenly landed on the ground next to Swallow, & Tango could hear something about hunting fish. Smart.

Mayfly flew back up, clearing their throat. "Alright, I want you to separate into groups of 5, & then all split up. No going further than the forest, though" they grunted.

Tango looked around, looking for others to group up with.

"Hey, Tango!" said Peacemaker, startling Tango a bit as he randomly appeared behind her. "Oh, hey Peacemaker!" she said with a grin. They both knew simultaneously that they were gonna work together.

In the end, the groups were evenly separated.

Tango, Peacemaker, Fateshifter, Nox, & Swallow. (who was ground hunting)
