Two Weeks Later

The day had now finally arrived.
The big show. We were dancing for a packed house. I'm grateful that we're able to get everything done. My time with Lucy also gave me an opportunity to talk with her,and to find out was really going on. She gave me the generic nothing, but I knew that was bullshit. So I didn't push. I figured she let me know when she was good and ready. Two Days Before The Show
We had just finished rehearsing. A few of the other dancer went to do various things. Eat,shower, take a breather. Lucy and I stayed back to go over the routine once more. I noticed she would give me short answers when I'd talk to her about the dancing. This is getting ridiculous, but I still tried to be cordial.
"So are you ready for this Luc (loos)?" I smiled sitting beside her. She smile sheepishly moving away some.
"Mhmm." She nods closing her water bottle standing up. I got up and followed.
"What's up Lucy? And don't tell me nothing. You've been acting really weird with me lately. What's going on? Did I do something wrong?" She looked at me briefly.
"It's something personal Patrick. Nothing for you to be worried about okay." She turned to leave but I grabbed her arm stopping her. She looked at her arm then back up at me so I let go.
"I'm sorry Luc. Is there something I can do?" She shrugged shaking her head no and walked away.
What the fuck.
I shook it off. It is what it is. I'm not chasing after nobody for friendship. If she wants to give me the cold shoulder for no good reason then so be it. "Well I guess we aren't practicing anymore." I went to the locker room to shower, and head home. I needed to get my mind right. I have a show, and need to remain focused. Maya was meeting me there, and she is always able to put a smile my face. But there are others that I have to see that I do not like. Dominik and Dawn live with us. And needless to say it has been horrible. Nobody seems to want to come over anymore so Bijou and I are either hanging out at signorina Moran's, or we go out. Isaac has become a bit of a recluse of sorts. Seems he's doing his best to avoid Claire and Reiko. He goes to work and comes home, and pretty much stays to himself. Yeah everything is different now. We're all still mad that Dawn hasn't been fired or penalized for what she did.

I looked out the shower stall to see who was calling me. Maya's beautiful smile came shining through in the picture I have attached to her number. I turned off the water wrapping the towel around my waist rushing to grab the phone.
"Hey where are you?" She asked and I could tell she was smiling.
"I'm still at the school. I decided to take a shower before I left. Why?" I said as I dried my hair.
"Oh nothing. It is a bit late is all. Is Lucy still there?" She asked in a tone I'm not familiar with.
I shook my head no like she could see me. "I don't know. She left out before I did. I'm assuming she should be home. Why do you ask? Did something happen between you two?" I said as I put on my deodorant. She remained silent.
"Wh-Why do you ask?" Maya says with hesitation. Yeah there's something definitely going on.
"I don't know. It just seems like all of you are acting funny. No one seems to know what's going on. Or y'all are pretending not to. When I ask I'm given these generic answers, and get weird vibes." I put my phone on the ledge hitting the speaker button so that I could hear thee excuse as I finished getting dressed. "I just need somebody to be honest with me that's all. Are y'all having a problem?" Silence. "Maya?" I looked at the phone and saw that the call wasn't dropped. "You know what. If you're not going to be honest then you don't need to come to my place tonight." Everyone is acting sus. Clearly there's an issue, and I'm not for the bullshit.
