-Rose-
My heart pounded. I went to greet him, but he didn't even look at me, just walked past as if I were air. I turned around to follow him. He didn't turn, just kept walking straight. I looked at Jennie; she was standing by the locker, observing me. I went to her. "What happened? Why did he ignore you?" she looked at me bewildered.
"He's angry, and honestly, I don't blame him," I said.
"You have to talk to him," Jennie suggested.
"I know..."
After school, I tried to find Yoongi, but I couldn't see him anywhere. Jungkook!! He was coming out of school, and I ran after him. "Hi, do you know where Yoongi is?" I asked desperately. "He went home a while ago. Why?" he inquired.
"I need to talk to him. Thank you, bye." I rushed away from school. He usually takes the park route home; I hope I can catch him. I scanned the park. There he is! "Min Yoongi!" I shouted and went after him. He turned.
"We need to talk," I said. "Is it going to be like this every time? Are you going to ignore me as if I were air? I don't want it to be like this. I'm sorry I didn't stand up for you, but if I oppose her, it's even worse." He looked at me and didn't say anything. "Say something, please," I looked into his eyes, unable to read anything from them.
"Rose, it's probably better if we take a break," he said. A break?! Is he breaking up with me?!
"So, a breakup?!" I clenched my fists. He nodded.
"It will be better for both of us," he spoke as if he didn't care. I felt no emotion from him. He turned and walked away.
"So, I mean nothing to you?!" I shouted. He didn't even turn; he kept going on his way. Tears streamed down my face. They flowed from my eyes like waterfalls. I couldn't stop crying. My eyes were so blurred with tears that I could hardly see the path. The day before everything was fine, and today everything went to hell. I've never seen him so heartless before. We've had many arguments, and it was worse than yesterday's fight, but he never broke up with me. I don't understand what happened this time. Did he stop loving me? I tried not to cry, but it was impossible. My heart was shattered into pieces.
-Jennie-
I was waiting for the bus, trying to avoid Jimin. "Hi," Tae appeared in front of me.
"Hello," I smiled.
"I haven't seen you at all today. Are you avoiding me?" he looked at me searchingly.
"No, I'm not avoiding you. I was just dealing with something with Rose... Is it just me, or is that my sister surrounded by those girls?" I couldn't resist; I had to go check. It felt like it was my sister.
"Where are you going?" Tae asked. I didn't answer him and kept going. He followed me.
"It really is her." I just found out that my sister was being bullied by three girls.
"Hey! Leave her alone!" I shouted at them. I grabbed Lili and turned her towards me.
"If I catch you doing anything to her again, we'll tell your parents." Tae warned them. They scattered away. I looked at him and mouthed the word 'thank you.' He smiled.
"Did they do something to you?" I examined her face. "No, but they wanted to cut my hair and insulted me." Anger surged within me.
"Well, let them wait. If I see them near you again, they'll see what hell is. I'm the only one who can treat you badly! If they bother you again, tell me immediately, okay?" I stared into her eyes. She nodded. "Alright, now let's go home."
The next day
-Taehyung-
I noticed Jimin and Jennie talking about something. I went closer to them to hear something. I know eavesdropping is not good, but I had to. "I thought you wouldn't come when I invited you," Jimin said.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Jennie said.
"You know very well what, I saw you there." What? Where did he see her? "So, is there a chance you still have an interest in me?" Jimin asked. When I heard that, I immediately perked up. I peeked out from behind the wall to see them. He grabbed her hand. I clenched my fist.
"But, you know you shouldn't stalk, right?" Mina stood next to me. "Shh!" I grabbed her hand and pulled her towards me.
"Let me go!" she protested. "Be quiet and listen; this will interest you!" I said and continued observing them.
"Jimin, stop. You have Mina," she pulled away from him. "I'm only dating her to make you jealous," he blurted out.
I looked at Mina. She stood there, shocked, looking at the ground. I won't listen to this. I just felt the urge to punch Jimin. I'm leaving.
-Jennie-
"Ah... Jimin, you know, I just realized something. We did something we might regret, and maybe not, but we used two people. And if it continues like this between us, it will keep hurting them, and I don't want that, and I know you don't either. You have to tell the truth to Mina." And I'll do the same to Tae. I don't want him to suffer because of me.
"You're right," he said and left.
"Where are you going?" I shouted after him.
"To Mina." He ran away.
-Mina-
I walked across the schoolyard; all the students were already gone. "Mina!!" Jimin yelled at me. I turned.
"What do you want?" I asked as he stood near me.
"To tell you the truth," he said.
"I already know it. I know it was a joke, but deep down, I hoped you meant it seriously. How could I even think that you could feel something for me? Jimin, from the first moment I met you, I loved you, and all this time, I hoped you would feel the same." And it's out of me now. I've kept it in for so long. I couldn't just stand there and look at him. I adjusted my backpack and walked around him.
"Mina..." he grabbed my hand and turned me towards him. He didn't say anything, just looked at me. "Jimin, let me go if you have nothing to say to me," I said. He pulled me even closer and kissed me.
