Focus hovers around his eyes as he slowly tries to open them. He was blurred by his first attempt but achieved a sightable vision after blinking for some few more times. Afterwards his eyes fell above as his head was laid flat on a piece of cloth which had an even thickness. His empty body was covered with a garment that had boundaries with fringed edges.

He was lying beneath a dark haven that sheltered him with maximum comfortability. It was well alit with light by a fire that danced to the evening song. He felt a ray of darkness which in turn proved to him that the night was reigning.

As he was looking around, his eyes unintentionally fell beside him and revealed an old woman supporting the fire with a wooden stick. She had a grey hair that portrayed an ancient tone. She was in rags covered by a slim piece of cloth that hanged around her neck.

        "You are awake," she said.

"Who are you...". he slowly asked as he casted his mind backwards fifty years ago. It occurred to him that it was the same old woman who had disrespected the elders and as a result, was thrown into the dungeon.

"You are supposed to be in a dungeon. Yet you are hear what happened," he asked

"Oh banished god, I'll share with you my tale,
Of visions seen and hope that could not fail.
A seer, old and wise, once held in chains,
Within a dungeon dreary, where darkness reigns.

They feared my gift, they feared my sight,
For truths unveiled brought terror into light.
But still I shared my visions, far and wide,
A beacon of guidance, with nothing to hide.

Through hazy mists, I glimpsed their fate,
And warned of storms approaching, never too late,
The elders sought my words, like whispers divine,
Yet ignorance led their hearts, for fear shall confine.

One fateful day, they called me to their court,
To cast me out; a verdict of disdain they brought,
Ingratitude, unworthy of their trust,
For they had forgotten, kindness is a must.

I stood before them, shackled by their greed,
Yet kindness dwelled 'midst these wounds, indeed.
For I was there to serve, not to repay,
Holding no grudge, as they cast me away.

In the chambers of darkness, my spirit grew free,
Through sorrow and solitude, my soul's decree.
I sought solace in the stars, their ancient light,
For strength flows from forgiveness, shining so bright.

Banished from their world, I found my release,
Embracing my purpose, not seeking their peace,
For seers are not defined by lofty halls,
But by the gift we bear, when darkness befalls.

So banished god, I share this story with thee,
Of the old woman seer, once bound, now free.
No grudges held, for love guides my way,
To illuminate the path, even when skies are gray.

"I think your story is closed for debate. Two separate entities with equal fate," Hiatus added.

"Yet in spite of all that they did to me, I still seek ways to reverse the catastrophe," she said.

"You are still about it again. You were lying it was plain," Hiatus explained.

"I wasn't lying it was true. Tomorrow I'll show it to you," she said.

"No thanks I have to leave tomorrow," he added.

"To where," the old lady sincerely asked.

"To the forest where I slept," he responded.

The old lady was amused by what he stated. Even with a wrinkled face, she managed to reveal an ancient smile.

"A forest? There is no life beyond this desert, only whispers of death and unforgiving heat," she said.
