Unexpected

Barry is in his loft which he still has even if he is on the waverider with the legends. Barry looks at Sara sleeping as he can't sleep because of his thoughts on Crisis and what he might have to do. Barry got out of bed and put the cover over Sara and put a top over him then walked downstairs and got a drink of water. Barry saw it was 7 o clock so he decided to make breakfast for himself and Sara. Half an hour later Barry walked upstairs and went to his bedroom and saw Sara waken "Morning Sara" Barry smiled and went and kissed her before putting the tray on the bed as she sat up. "Morning why are you up early" asked Sara and she began to eat "Just thinking of you" Barry said and she could see he lying "Want to try again" she says and Barry smiled "It's fine don't worry" Barry told her and kissed her lips. 

After breakfast Barry text Joe to look after Sara as he has to do something. Barry looked at Sara "Sara I have to do something so Joe be here looking after you ok and I love you and no I cannot tell you what it is" Barry smiled and kissed Sara on her cheek and looked down to her stomach "do not worry little one Daddy be back" Barry said and kissed Sara swollen stomach and he speed away. Sara looked down "it gonna be ok baby your father will be ok" Sara says and began to think why is Barry acting so weird. Sara will think of a way to get him to talk.

Barry went to Star Labs to talk to Cisco and Caitlin "guys I need to go to the future to see everything" Barry told them they understood and they went to the pipeline so Barry could run off but then he got hit by an anti-matter in his leg making him fall. Caitlin went to check on him "what happened" asked Cisco "it was like a barrier like there was nothing there" Barry told his two best friends. Barry sat on a chair in the cortex to think "what about Jay" asked Caitlin. Barry looked at her "That great need to go to Earth 3 want to Join Caitlin" Barry asked and Caitlin nodded knowing for doctor reasons. So the two got ready and opened a portal to Earth 3.

Earth 3

Once Barry and Caitlin entered and saw Jay Barry asked him if he needed to get into a future "You want to tell me why the hell you were time-traveling to begin with" Jay asked Barry "I needed to see for myself if the Monitor was telling the truth about what happened to me and I know what you're gonna say about time-traveling..." Barry says but then Jay cuts him off. "Actually, I was gonna tell you, you made the right call. For the past year, I've been detecting anti-matter signatures across the multi-verse. Now, we don't know their origin, but if my algorithm is correct, all Earths could be in danger" Jay tells both Caitlin and Barry leaving them in shock.  Barry then tells him "then we have to find a way to break through that wall" and Caitlin nods.

"your body never could. But maybe your mind can. I built this thing years ago, the neural hyper-collider. It harnesses neural electricity and transfers it across superluminal particles" Jay starts to said then Caitlin is one cuts him off "Therefore, projecting human consciousness across space-time" and Jay nods with a smile "You could send someone's mind past the anti-matter wall" Barry asked "Not just anyone It's got to be a speedster in his prime so are you in" Jay asked and Barry nodded "yeah I am" Barry smiles.

After he finds out what he wants to see he passes out from too much pain and Caitlin along with Jay's wife Joan Williams who is a doppelganger of Barry's mother Nora tries to get Barry to wake but he is out for a while. Barry woke up hearing Joan read a poem "Gaga usually works" Barry says and Caitlin laughed. Barry tried to get up but he went back down "Ow" he says "What's wrong with me" he asked. " The device overloaded your neural synapses, creating a near-shutdown What you're experiencing now s called neural entropy" Joan said. "Feels like they on fire" Barry says "because they are your a speedster your synapses fire ten times the normal rate So, you're feeling ten times the amount of pain a non-speedster would" Joan tells him.

Jay looks "what you see kid" asked Jay "I saw billions of possible futures billions of deaths all their pain and their suffering And then they were gone I felt all of it Now I know the Monitor was right I have to die" Barry said and Caitlin felt sadness and had tears. "I have to go home I have to see Sara to check if she is ok" Barry then says. "Just rest Barry that's all you need" said Caitlin and Barry closed his eyes. Barry fell asleep when Caitlin moved away "Who is Sara" asked Jay then Caitlin told him that everything happened. Jay was happy for Barry.

Later On 

Barry was back home and Caitlin told Sara Cisco and Joe the truth about what happening and Sara was sad and hold Barry all night as she saw him break down.
