Back in Kento perspective, he couldn't help but be intrigued by the challenge of testing his strength without relying on mana enhancement. He wanted to see how he measured up against Maki's natural abilities.

Lowering his power level to match Maki's, Kento engaged in the fight on equal footing. As the battle unfolded, it appeared as though Maki had the upper hand. Her strikes were fierce, and Kento purposely allowed himself to be pushed back, making it seem like she was winning.

However, Kento's keen observation and adaptability kicked into high gear. He analyzed Maki's techniques, her patterns, and swiftly adjusted his own fighting style to counter her moves.

It was a testament to his skill and experience that he could quickly adapt and match her in skill despite the level playing field.

Or the fact that he seems to adapt to stuff pretty quickly...he adapted to having a system in like a few hours and adapted to being a jujutsu sorcerer in like a day.

He didn't feel anything when he killed that transfigured human even after he learned it was a human.

It probably has something with the fact that his class is related to death and that is all he can think of as of now.

While Kento enjoyed the challenge, he couldn't resist the urge to keep teasing Maki, even in the midst of their intense battle. He continued to throw playful remarks her way, aiming to get under her skin and provoke a reaction.

"Is that all you've got, Maki? I expected more from someone who claims to be a rising star!"

"Come on, Maki put some real effort into it! I know you can do better than that!"
He may not admit but spending so much time with the goofy man known as Gojo...was affecting him by a lot.

His teasing remarks served a dual purpose. On one hand, they added an element of lightheartedness to the fight, allowing them to enjoy the sparring session. On the other hand, Kento hoped to push Maki to tap into her full potential and strive for even greater heights.
Or that is what Kento told himself to not feel guilty about bullying her.

As the battle raged on, Kento's evolving skills and adaptability became evident. He matched Maki blow for blow, demonstrating a newfound level of proficiency that surprised even himself. Despite the equal power level, he managed to keep the fight evenly matched, showcasing his growth and his ability to rise to any challenge.

Kento's teasing continued, aimed at testing Maki's resolve and pushing her further. He knew that her strength and determination had room to expand, and he wanted to inspire her to unleash her full potential.

Even though Kento had the upper hand in terms of skill, he didn't let his advantage dampen their training session. The playful banter and light-hearted teasing created an enjoyable atmosphere and fueled their competitive spirit.

In the midst of their intense battle, Kento couldn't help but feel a growing respect for Maki's abilities. All she had to be fair was her physical strength and she may seem incredibly weak compared to him to the point that he could blitz her but she had skill.

And dam was she flexible.

With a smile on his face, Kento kept up his teasing and taunting, encouraging Maki to rise to the occasion. He wanted to see her reach her full potential and prove herself in their friendly sparring sessions.

From Maki's perspective, the fight with Kento was an opportunity to push herself beyond her limits. She approached the battle with a headstrong determination, fully focused on proving her strength without relying on anyone else's assistance.

As Kento matched her power level and the fight commenced, Maki's competitive nature kicked in. She attacked relentlessly, pouring all her strength into each strike. The initial moments of the battle gave her a surge of confidence, as it appeared she had the upper hand against Kento.

However, as the fight progressed, Maki noticed a shift in Kento's approach. His adaptability and quick adjustments caught her off guard. It seemed like he was evolving right before her eyes, effortlessly matching her skill in a short amount of time. Despite her best efforts, Maki found it increasingly difficult to land a decisive blow.

It was annoying she wanted to imprint her fist on his face but this was proving to be incredibly hard.

Amidst the intensity of the fight, Kento's playful teasing continued. While Maki appreciated his skills and respected his abilities, she couldn't help but feel a mix of annoyance and amusement at his remarks.

With each strike and counter, Maki focused on honing her technique and refining her skills. She refused to let Kento advancements discourage her. Instead, she channeled her frustration into her attacks, pushing herself harder to uncover new depths of her abilities.

Which to be fair was what Kento was trying to and she realized it earlier but she still didn't stop she wanted to push him so badly just once.

Maki's straightforward and strong-willed nature propelled her forward, even in the face of an opponent as formidable as Kento She was determined to prove that she was not bound by the standards set for her by her family. Her motivation came from within, driven by a burning desire to break free and forge her own path.

As the fight continued, Maki's focus intensified, shutting out the distractions of Kento teasing. She remained resolute, unyielding in her pursuit of victory. Every strike, and every move was a testament to her unwavering determination and her refusal to be defined by others' expectations.

In the midst of their intense exchange of blows, Maki could feel herself growing stronger at an accelerated pace. Each strike from Kento, every move he made, seemed tailored to help her improve. It was as if he had designed the fight to challenge her, pushing her boundaries and forcing her to adapt.

It was some for him to be fair, he attack her everytime she has a weakness in her defence and if she doesn't fix it, she will get smack.

He didn't move at speed she couldn't follow but moved at a speed that she could keep up with, it was as if fighting an opponent that way stronger than you and is beating but you weren't dying.

You still get the experience just that you get hit a lot more.

While Kento teasing persisted, Maki couldn't deny the positive impact it had on her growth. It became evident that his intention was not just to provoke her but to motivate her to reach new heights. His remarks, though lighthearted, were a constant reminder to give her all and push beyond her limits.

The thing is his teasing reminded him of Gojo and for that reason alone she wanted to punch him, hard.
She wanted to break his bones, she is sure he could survive it.

He survive Sukuna for Christ's sake so she is sure that he wouldn't break under a tiny bit of pressure.
