Kenzo's eyes snapped open, and as his consciousness reasserted itself, he found himself back in the familiar confines of his room. The soft glow of dawn filtered through the curtains, casting a warm embrace on the walls. The battle-scarred battlefield, the impending doom, and the cruel mockery of the Frost Monarch all faded away like a fleeting nightmare.

He lay there, his body feeling surprisingly intact, the wounds and pain mere echoes of a distant memory. The intensity in his eyes, however, remained, a silent testament to the vivid experiences he had just lived through.

Confusion gripped Kenzo as he glanced around the room, a lingering sense of disorientation clouding his thoughts. Was it all a dream, a vision, or something more elusive? The echoes of the battle still resonated within him, the emotions and determination fresh in his mind.

As Kenzo tried to make sense of this surreal return to his starting point, a lingering question danced at the edge of his consciousness: What did this journey through the shadows reveal, and what choices lay ahead in the wake of such vivid visions? The room, now bathed in the gentle morning light, held the answer to mysteries that transcended the boundaries of reality and dreams.

The realization slowly dawned on Kenzo—this return to his room was more than a mere memory or a dream. It seemed as though he had been granted a second chance, a reset button pressed on the tumultuous events that unfolded in the shadowy realm.

A sense of gratitude and determination welled up within him. It was as if fate had granted him the opportunity to rewrite the course of his destiny, to learn from the trials he faced in that shadowy battlefield. The scars and wounds that had marked his previous encounter were replaced with a renewed sense of purpose.

With a steely resolve, Kenzo understood that this second chance wasn't just a reprieve; it was an invitation to approach the challenges ahead with newfound wisdom and strength. The room, once a starting point, now held the promise of a different journey—one where the shadows of the past could be reshaped into a brighter future.

Kenzo then realized that his stats were the same as when he had died by the hand of the frost monarch.

All his stuff was there...he doesnt want this...he want to be sent back to the battlefield as this place felt more like an illusion then a second chances,he just could feel it in his bones.

Kenzo just decided to ignore it for now,he lost because he was to weak,he refuse to think that he lost because of Igris,he would have done the same in any universe,he didnt want Igris to die like this.

It might be weird coming from him but he was attached to his shadow soldier, cut him some slacks, they were quite nice and he even considered some of them his friends so he didnt want to lose Igris.

Basically his first ever shadow soldier, his right hand man and the shadow soldier he trusted the most, the person that thought him swordmanship and his stronguest knight.
