All of a sudden I was pinned up against the wall by Stefan making me stop what I was doing to Damon.

"Get your hands off me." I snarled.

"Yeah, Stefan. Let her go." Damon said.

After a few seconds he let e go and I fell to the floor, rubbing my throat.

"Was that so hard?" I groaned. I looked up at everyone. They were all angry and upset apart from Bonnie who was shocked that I was a Bennet witch and Damon looked sympathetic.

"I'm sorry." he admitted as I stood up.

"Why are you apologising to her? She just attacked you." Caroline said.

"I deserved it."

"I'm lost." Elena muttered.

"Let's just all sit down and listen to what Tilly has to say." Bonnie cut in as she took a seat back in her previous position. Everyone else sat down along with her as they stared at me, awaiting an explanation.

"I never knew my parents. The first face I remembered was Damon's. He took me in." I said causing them to gasp. Damon looked down at his feet.

"My parents left me on some abandoned street and Damon found me and raised me like his own. He was practically my dad but then his humanity turned off. He used me for blood and treated me like I was useless." Tears fell from my eyes as Damon stared at me with sorry eyes.

"He's the reason I'm the person I am today. A cold hearted bitch with the inability to make friends."

"Damon looked around at everyone's shocked faces. "I didn't mean to. I was different then."

"You know it's impossible to change. O the outside you may seem alright but inside you'll always be the same useless father figure."

His eyes started to water but I didn't care. He taught me not to care.

"Do you remember the time I almost died. You refused to heal me so I had o haul myself to a hospital all by myself. I had to become more independent. Cooking, cleaning. Finally I decided to leave because I wanted to be nice. I wanted people to like me."

"I wasn't always like that. We had some good times."

"For the first eleven years of my life, yes. We had our time of laughter, you let me drive your car late at night , you taught me how to write, how to talk. We even bonded over your love for Katherine."

"I don't love her anymore."

"Yet your fell for her exact double. Let me guess. Doppleganger?"

Elena looked down at her feet, slightly embarrassed.

"I can't believe I actually called your 'dad'."

I walked up to him in a threatening manor. "I should have killed you when I had the chance."

"You don't mean that." Damon whispered.

"You raised me to mean every single spiteful word." I hissed before walking off and out of the house.

Damon's P.O.V.

Everyone was staring at me surprised and shocked.

"You're a dad?" Stefan questioned.

"Not legally, no. I just found and raised her. It doesn't mean anything." I answered, trying not to cry. I didn't want them seeing my soft side.

"Well you did a bad job at it. Poor Tilly." Caroline said.

"I know but  was young and stupid back then. I didn't have anyone but her and parties."

"You abused her." Elena spoke and I winced at her words.

"Don't say that!" I exclaimed. "I was an idiot. I know. It was out of my mind before she turned up and brought back all the memories. I hate myself every day for it and if I could change what I did I would but I can't."

"You left her to fend for herself." Bonnie said.

"I know..." I trailed sadly. "And I regret it. But she isn't listening to my apologies."

"I don't blame her." Caroline said. "I wouldn't forgive you either."

I then turned to see Elena thinking deeply.

"Elena." I sighed.

She looked up at me before taking her eye contact away from me. It looked like it was hard for her to look at me and I hated that.

"I'm gonna go find Tilly." she said before walking away.

"We'll come with you." Caroline told her, grabbing Bonnie's hand and following Elena. Once I heard the door close shut I balled my hands into fists, trying to control my emotions. I looked up to see Stefan looking back at me so I walked over to our stash of alcohol, pouring myself a glass of bourbon. I heard my brother's footsteps come behind me making me sigh.

"Come to give me your words of wisdom." I sarcastically spoke.

"No. I came to give you my honest opinion."

"Oh gee. This'll be fun."

"Don't try and hide your emotions Damon. I won't judge you."

"No, go ahead. I've already been judged enough." I sassed, gulping down some of my drink.

"You're my brother. I wouldn't do that."

I just ignored him and took another drink.

"Look," Stefan sighed, "I know what you did was wrong but you did have your humanity off for most of the time. You're the bad brother of the equation. I kind of expected it."

"She said she wanted to kill me." I stated, feeing my heart breaking with every word. Stefan frowned. "I made her like this. I destroyed every piece of faith and happiness she had left in her."

There was a short pause as I refilled my glass with bourbon.

"...Why didn't you tell me I was an uncle?" Stefan asked me.

"We weren't on very good terms back then."

"But I would still tell my brother that I had a daughter. You didn't even say anything when we were living together again."

"I wanted to forget all about the bad memories. But it doesn't matter anymore. She hates me."

Tilly's P.O.V.

"He's changed you know." Elena told me as we all sat down on the park bench.

"He's you're boyfriend. You have to say that."

"No. I mean it. Even ask Caroline."

"As much as I hate to admit it, Elena's right." Caroline sighed. "He's not the same usual dick he used to be."

"And plus he hates all witches but he seems to have a soft spot for us Bennet witches. Now I know why." Bonnie joined in. "You."

"He really does love you. I can see it in his eyes." Elena said.

"But I don't love him." I sneered.

"Where are you staying?" Bonnie asked, changing the subject.

I shrugged. "Wherever the road leads me."

"You're staying with me."

"Elena-"

"No. I'm not having you sleeping in random motels everyday. You're Damon's family which means you're our family too."

"I don't want to see him." I told her.

"It's a big house. You'll hardly notice him." Bonnie chuckled.

"Ok." I sighed, giving in. "I'll stay with you. But this isn't permanent. Only until I find somewhere else o stay."

"Finally! Another girl living with us." Elena grinned making me laugh. I haven't laughed in a while.

I missed it.
