Rosita woke up in pain laying on the cold basement floor. She moved her head to the side, thinking she'd see a passed out or awake Robin waiting for her. But he wasn't there.

She noticed a trail of blood leaving the basement. It stopped at the door. She then realized and remembered what had happened. Her baby brother was dead.

She turned onto her stomach and sat on her knees. She put her hands into the small puddle of her blood on the floor and screamed. Knowing her baby brother was dead hurt her. Seeing him die. Hearing his last words. She knew then she had to get out of the Grabbers' basement. She didn't know where to start. There was nothing she could use to defend herself.

She then remembered the small room in the corner she never went in.

She groaned out in pain as she got up. Rosita looked down at her wound. Dry and fresh blood covered the area. She held her side as she walked over to the room.

As she turned the corner, there was nothing there other than a toilet and what looked like rolled up rugs. Rosita walked to the corner and sat down, bringing her knees close to her chest and holding her stomach with both of her arms. She knew she was going to die in this basement. If every kid who was brought down here died, she would, too.

When Vance went missing, she knew he wouldn't come back. She knew he was dead. She wanted to be dead, too, but Robin and Christina kept her alive.

Now Robin was dead. All she has is Christina. Rosita thought about all over her memories with her daughter.

She smiled, thinking of how good of a dad Vance would have been.

Vance never showed it much, but Rosita knew he was scared he'd be like his dad. Rosita knew he'd never be that way. Ever.

She remembered when Robin's friend Finney came over to help with homework and Vance was over that week since his dad wasn't in a good spot.

Every time Finney saw Vance, he'd stutter and tense up thinking Vance would hurt him.

Rosita purposely sent Vance to go tell Robin and Finney dinner was ready, and she couldn't stop laughing, thinking of what a fright he probably caused Finney.

Rosita didn't know Finney much. All she knew was he was Robin's best friend and would come to the Grab and go to get snacks every now and then.

As Rosita thought of more memories to bring her joy while she was in pain, she couldn't help but smile.

Just for a moment, she thought she could see Vance leaning on the wall by the entrance of the room smiling at her. She looked up but he wasn't there.

She knew she was dying if she imagined seeing the love of her life. He was probably there to help and greet her to the other side.

Rosita heard the loud basement door open and footsteps. She saw the Grabber staring at her in the corner of her eye. He turned his head to the side and then spoke.

"There you are! Thought you left." He said creepily. She didn't look at him and just stared at the corner opposite of her.

She felt the same cold breeze she felt the day the Grabber mentioned Christina on her left side. As if something sat next to her. She didn't think anything of it. The grabber turned around and left.

Rosita's eyes began to get heavy, and her breathing slowed down. This is it. Rosita thought. I'm gonna die. She allowed her eyes to close and took a breath of air.

Everything went dark and quiet for Rosita Arellano.

Remember me, though I have to say goodbye
Remember me, don't let it make you cry
For even if I'm far away, I hold you in my heart
I sing a secret song to you each night we are apart
