Squidbeak Survival 4: Kimi and Zal

They both walked onto a different beach,' Shipwreck Lagoon'. Kimi first noticed the large abandoned ship in the distance, the wooden make-shift bed, and the waterfall beside it. Near the wooden bed was an already-started fire. And a certain yellow inkling was exploring the ship.

"Ayo Buddy, did you find somethin'?" They yell out. Failing to notice another inkling on the beach.

"ZAL!" "Eh?" That inkling on the boat stopped what they were doing and quickly turned around. "....! KIM-KIM!!"

Zal immediately jumped off the ship and ran to Kimi, quickly engulfing her in a tight hug, making the both of them fall.

"Whoa!" Kimi was taken off guard by the sudden hug for a few seconds before hugging back.

"Kim-Kim~ I've missed ya soooo much!! I'm so glad you're okay!" Zal exclaimed, hugging, or squeezing, the life out of Kimi. She looks like she's about to pass out if she doesn't let go.

"I-I'm so....happy to see you t-too....." Kimi inhales and exhales as she said that, struggling to breathe. "Z-zal.....I-i..."

Luckily, Zal got the message and let go of her. "Hehe, sorry bout that. Been a while since I've seen anyone else other than Buddy....Err...." 

Zal was kinda....eying Kimi. She was wearing her light blue-and-white bikini, but the ends of it by her hips and lower stomach were ripped and torn out, as if they were scratched. Along with her legs, as there were some small scars and closed wounds. 

'Geez....what happened to you, Kim?...' 

"....Zal?" Kimi snapped Zal out of her thoughts, making her shake her head and brushing herself off.

"Ah, my bad.....uh... anyways, how did ya get here to my little beach?" Zal changes the subject.

"Little Buddy here showed me the way." Kimi looks down at the smallfry, which makes Buddy squeaks in joy.  

"Aye, that's my Buddy right there!" Zal gives a thumbs up. "And hey, while ya here, wanna join me for dinner? We found each other, so we might as well eat together!"  "You know, I would like that."   "Mm-hm. Not to mention stay together....although, I'll need some more wood..." "I can go get some more materials if you like." Kimi insists.   "You kiddin'? It looks like your legs gonna give out if you keep walkin'. I got it myself."  "No, no. I insist! I'm fine, nothing too much." "Nope. Me thinks you need a rest anyway; can't let my bestie hurt herself even more, can I? Not at all!"  "But uh-"

Zal was already walking off to the jungle for some wood. "Buddy, you look after Kim-Kim, okay?" The smallfry did a little salute.

While Zal was out, Buddy was pointing to the small thin sticks in a pile. Kimi was confused for a second before realizing what he means.

"...! Oh, I get what you mean, Buddy. Is Zal okay with me using the sticks?" Kimi asked to be sure. Buddy nodding, which means "go ahead".

Kimi went over to the pile of small sticks, picked up two sticks and rubbed them together quickly, causing a small spark to appear. Soon, the fire started.

Kimi sat down by the fire, her arms across her knees as Buddy sat sat next to her right. There was a small moment of silence as the two stared off at the fire and the settling sun. Kimi sighs, wanting to have a small chat with her. She might as well start with him first, just to get it off her chest.
