"Okay fine, I'll let you inside but don't do something stupid or I'll throw you out"
Hearing this, the girl looked up and look at her. Her eyes shone with tears and her nose is red her face is full of tears. Finally, she stood up and nod her head.
"Go inside I'll just go and drink some water" then she left
When she came back she found the girl sitting in her chair beside the window. So she went inside and close the door and lie on the bed.
"If you're sleepy, you can go back to your room. I won't let you sleep here" Lisa said
The girl looked at her and nodded her head then look outside the window again. Lisa pull out her book in the drawer and started to read. She wasn't aware that her eyes began to close slowly and eventually, she dozed off sleep. She woke up in the middle of the night to find the girl sleeping uncomfortably beside the window. She stood up and tried to carry the girl and since she's kinda heavy, instead of putting her back to her own bedroom, she put the little girl on her bed. Afterwards, she lie on the bed as well with a safe distance from the little girl and sleep.

Early in the morning she felt something heavy and it is moving. When she open her eyes, she saw Jennie's limbs entangled with her so she put it back on the bed, away from her and stood up and went downstairs
"Morning, Jennie's still asleep? I checked her room and found out she wasn't there. And when I checked yours, I found her sleeping beside you"
"Hm. She's annoying "
"Did you guys play last night? I told you don't stay up late"
"No, mom. She is so annoying."
"Stop saying that. Is it because your training got delayed? She was not the the reason. Actually, I have a lot of work the needs to finish that's why.."
Her mom explained
"So don't be mad at her. She does not have a choice to be here. Treat her nice, Lisa" Lisa did not reply and started digging to her food.
After breakfast she went back to her room to found the little girl sleeping peacefully. Then she went to her wardrobe to get a new shirt and trousers. Bathing is her everyday routine after breakfast. A couple of minutes taking a bath, she step out from the bathroom and saw Jennie in daze. She looks like a baby, seems like she just woke up.
"You have finally woke up. You can leave now"
Jennie looked at her, blinked and nodded her head. Before she stood up she said "Thank you" then smiled at her and left the room.
Lisa looked at her disappearing back and sigh. As to her, being an eleven year old kid does not seem to be as easy as everyone thought. Being a 'kid' in the hands of a kidnappers never been an easy life for her. They made her mind and eyes to see what the real world is. There are lot of people; good and bad ones. A lot of kids who looks shy and innocent but in reality, it was not. Suddenly, she think about the little girl. This Jennie. Lisa thinks she's truly innocent. Still, she needs to know more about this girl.
"Lisa?" Her mother called her and knocked her door
"Mom?" She walked towards the door and opened. And there she saw her anxious mother with a tear stain on her cheek.
"What happened? Why did you cry?"
"I need to talk to you, dear" she said as she entered Lisa's room and closed the door
"I have to leave today. Maybe I'll be gone for a couple of days or a week. You need to look for Jennie while I'm gone"
"What is happening? Why are you leaving?"
"Jennie's parents, Lisa..." The she sobbed and tears flowing down her cheeks continuously
"They got into an accident this morning the police called me and I need to check on them. Both of them has no family and relatives left"
"Listen to me and take good care of their daughter Jennie, okay? Don't let her know about this yet. I will be the one who speak to her when I get back and confirm the situation "
"I will see her parents and do what I need to do. I'll call you guys. Call me anytime " her mother did not wait for her reply and hug her before she left the room to start preparing
Lisa went downstairs in a daze and saw Jennie eating alone without the knowledge about her parents situation. Her parents might still be alive or gone. This girl will be in the orphanage or Child Care Facility if her parents declared as dead. She does not want to think about it as she walked towards Jennie. The little girl looked up innocently and smiled at her. Oh, how innocent angel. She sigh
"After breakfast, go and take a bath" she said the little girl stared at her for about five seconds and show her gummy smile before nodding.
Afternoon cane when she saw her mother coming downstairs with her luggage.
"Lisa, I still have an hour and a half. I'll go and prepare food before I leave, let's eat together" Lisa nods in response
