Verstappen's POV:

I was just putting on my racing suit when my mother came into my driver's room. I didn't think she would be here because she and my father are in a very bad situation right now. I don't really have time to talk because I had to go to quali.

"Hi mom" -I said and smiled

She walked up to me and hugged me. I felt the she was sad.

"What's wrong?" -I asked and looked in her eyes

"I'm divorcing your father... Don't worry, it's not your fault, this marriage broke up a long time ago. It's too bad I only realized it now." -she said  and I thought I heared it wrong

"Are you serious?" -I asked worriedly

"Max, baby, calm down please. You need to focus on driving now. I just wanted you to know from me and not from your father." -she said and cupped my cheeks- "Now go and show them who is the boss on the track" -she said and giggled

1 hour later...

I got the pole, but Charles was only 19th. I was terribly sorry because he didn't deserve this. I wanted to talk to Charles after the interview, but he had already left, so I went to change and I met Kelly.

"What are you doing here?" -I asked and she pushed me away

"I saw the video of you kissing Charles and please don't try to deny it your father showed it to me. Listen, you can be with whoever you want, but we're done." -she said and stormed out

My mouth remained open. I couldn't even answer her before she left, so I could only hope that she wouldn't tell anyone. Also, that my father won't show it to more people. I was afraid, I didn't know what to do. Then I saw that Lando texted.

Lando: Hey you looked upset today so I thought maybe you would like to talk

Me: I'll be in the hotel in 20, my room number is 415

Lando: Ok

I got into the car and went to the hotel. I had just entered my room when someone knocked. I went to the door and saw that it was Lando.

"Hi mate" -he said and I let him in

"Hey" -I said and he sat on the bed

I sat next to him and sighed.

"Kelly broke up with me" -I said with a calm voice

"Oh, that's good" -he said and I looked at him in surprise

"What?" -I asked confusedly

"You didn't love her it was obvious" -he said and laughed

I got a bit angry, even though he was right.

"Maybe I don't but I never actually told that to anyone" -I frowned

"No shit Sherlock. But hey you can get any girl you like. Who wouldn't like a 2 time World champion" -he said and I was offended

I know that he couldn't know that I also like men, but it still hurt me, especially that I wanted a certain man. I couldn't hold it longer.

"Kelly broke up with me because she saw the video of me kissing Charles." -I blurted out

Lando just smiled and hugged me.

"I'm so proud of you" -he said and I hugged him back

"I love him..." -I said and started crying in his arms
