Last Chapter for Part 1?

The alarm stopped, and the lights stopped flashing. But we weren't out of danger just yet.

I was feeling uneasy as I felt the slight pulling and tugging, and rocking of Silver Falcon swooping and diving as Shadow piloted the ship.

I wasn't all too worried about falling from the bed, as I assumed, the artificial gravity, whatever that is, was keeping me from moving too much. Was it just his tech, or was it like this on all other ships? I didn't know. But I was hoping for the first option. I want my mate to be the smartest ever.

Then the ship levelled out before finally stopping. And Shadow came hurrying in.

"Shade?", I asked worriedly as he sat me up and put my clothes in my arms. "Shade what's going on?", I panicked, a tear rolling down my cheek.

"Badbloods". That one word made me freeze, sending a sharp, almost painful, chill down my spine.

"I-I thought Enforcers. Isn't it just Enforcers?!", more tears fell down my face, and he turned to me to wipe them off with a gentle thumb.

"We've entered their airspace. And I landed on a habited planet. To what extent is it habited? I do not know for certain. But my love, I've found a place for you to stay hidden while I lead them away", he told me, our eyes never wavering from each others. I leaned into his warmth when he cupped the side of my face with a large hand.

"You will stay in this spot that I had found, and wait for me to return. Understood?"

I nodded, and began to sort through my clothes. He took the hint, and stepped away, allowing me room to get dressed. Once I was done, he led me out of the ship, and straight into a thick, humid jungle.

He led me through the thick shrubbery and tangled plants, before we emerged into a small clearing. Walls of rocks, and tall trees with their leaves covering the entirety of the sky, swallowing all that lay below in a warm, soft green light.

I found it incredibly beautiful, and was in awe of it all. In any other circumstance, I would have found it to be the perfect spot to sleep and mate with Shadow for the rest of my very life.

But alas. I doubt it would ever happen.

"Stay here, Flix. I'll return for you, my love", he kissed me goodbye, and vanished back into the thick jungle.

And I was left alone.

So with nothing else to do, I set to looking around my beautiful little piece of paradise.

I went around the entire area, admiring all of the beautiful flowers, leaves, beetles, insects, and the many, multi-coloured avians and birds above in the branches high up in the canopy.

All of the wonderful and unique songs and sounds, and beautiful melodies...peaceful.

I had no idea of how much time had passed, but I assumed it was a long time. And I had grown more, and more worried for my love. Who was out there somewhere, beyond my little pocket of safety, protecting me somehow.

My heart ached at how long it's been.

And I had this growing feeling in the pits of my stomach that something was off. That something was very, very wrong.

And I was right.

Looking up from my seat on a large round rock, I saw a wavy, invisible person on the edge of the jungle where I had originally come from. A Yautja.

My eyes went wide, and my breathing stopped.

They clicked and chittered, before they decloaked, revealing a bright red and yellow male, with a massive build. His mask was like that of a monster, and every spare space of his body was covered in layered scars.
