Percy sighed as she packed the last of Estelles things into a box. She never thought she would become a serial adapter. Legally, she was the mother of Estelles, Nico and had temporary emergency custody of Will. Sally and Paul had been murdered by a monster, Nico was self explanatory, and Will's mum had a mental breakdown when Will brought Nico home, going on about how they were going to hell for sinning, she currently lives in the new york mental health facility.
Getting up and grabbing the box, Percy walked out of the room. Every part of her wanted to turn around, take one last look. But she knew if she had to see that room again, the room where she found her parents, she wouldn't ever leave. Will waited outside the apartment holding the little Estelle, only 7 months old in his arms. Nico was asleep in the car. Percy placed the box in the boot as Will put Estelle in the car seat. Getting in the car she waited for Will to get in the passenger's seat.
"Where to now?" Will looked over to percy, noting her tight rip on the steering wheel, making her knuckles go white.
Turning the keys in the ignition, Percy slowly pulled out of the car park in front of the apartments. "Posiden bought us a house on the outskirts of Gotham. For now we'll go there, you and neeks can finish school. I don't know what ill do"
Will only nodded in reply. Turning to watch Nico sleep and Estelle start to doze off too.

3 Weeks Later
Percy looked around the block of run down apartments she had purchased. She knew that Gotham had a bad homeless problem, but the amount of young teens, and children living on the street broke her heart.
She looked back down to the street where the young homeless watched her.. "As i said, you can live here rent free, you are free to renovate. Feel free to ask for supplies. I will provide what you need. Those of you that are still meant to be in school I ask that you attend, I will cover the cost. The only real rule is no drugs or alcohol in the building." she paused to close her eyes, she was so tired, organising this was harder than she thought it would have been. "I do have some other business starting, if you would rather work and are over 16 i can offer you a job." she gestured to the board in the foyer of the apartments. "All available positions are listed there, along with how to contact me."
She moved as the crowd walked over to the board. Nobody had ever tried to help most of them, let alone offer them a rent free place to live, along with jobs and schooling options. Most of the older kids planned to go straight to work, they had younger siblings to look after, the younger ones just stayed with Percy, knowing that they could trust her.
