EPILOGUE

TAEHYUNG'S POV

I stared at her pale face, she was lying on our bed still unconscious gently holding her hand in mine, hovering above her I pecked her forehead, eyes, nose, cheeks, and lips. Pulling away I wiped away a lone tear that escaped from my eye and looked at our hands intertwined, I smiled and talked to her,

"Strawberry it's been four years"

I looked at her face and told her,

"And today Nari is turning three"

Nari, our second baby girl, is a copy of her mother, with the same brown orbs that I'm dying to see, the same cute long nose, and cherry lips, every time I see her I see YN in her. I smiled looking down at my lap with teary eyes and whispered,

"Kids miss you so much, Strawberry"

Yuri and Eun-woo turned ten this year, and both of them are the best children anyone can dream of. After successful surgery, Eun-woo recovered within a few months and gladly joined the school with Yuri, both of them know about YN's condition but none of them show anyone that they miss her as much as I do. They both became silent and more reserved, I know seeing their mother like this affected them but I am helpless at the moment. On the other hand Nari, she became the most cherished member of our family, Eun-woo is too possessive over her and I love her equally as much as love Yuri and Eun-woo.

I watched YN's frame to which just two wires were attached, one was for food and the other was for urination, last month she made progress and the doctor allowed her to take off the ventilator. I have a hope that she'll wake up very soon but whenever I look at her lying unconscious on our bed it hurts way too much. 

Taking a deep breath I controlled myself and smiled again looking at her, I stood up and after planting a lingering kiss on her forehead I whispered,

"I love you, Strawberry"

Glancing at her for the last time I walked out of the room, mustering up the best smile I could I walked downstairs where everyone was present for Nari's third birthday party. Everyone wished Nari happy birthday, then we cut the cake and exchanged gifts, and at the last, after having dinner altogether everyone went back to their respective homes. Everyone wants YN to recover soon and is equally worried for her because of the kids we have decided to celebrate once a month so that they won't feel sad about the absence of their mother.

Making sure Yuri and Eun-woo were asleep in their respective rooms I took Nari to our room where her crib was located, feeding her formula milk, I made her burp and then put her to sleep by pacing back and forth in the room holding her in my arms carefully. I smiled as I looked down at her sleeping peacefully, putting her in the crib gently I covered her with the duvet and walked into the washroom to take a relaxing shower.

Changing into my sweats I came back and I laid down beside YN, turning to her side I rested my head on my hand looking at her sleeping peacefully, I couldn't help but steal a kiss or two from her. Holding her hand in mine I snuggled into her palm and kept looking at her face waiting for her to wake up, and in no time while looking at her like that I went into my deep slumber.

I groaned as my alarm rang, throwing my hand in the direction of my ringing phone I shut it up and opened my eyes, a smile immediately kissed my lips as I saw YN beside me, I pecked her forehead and mumbled to her,

"Good morning, Princess"

Looking at her face for a moment I started my day, getting into the washroom, I did my morning routine and got ready for the day wearing my usual suit, my Rolex, and YN's favorite cologne of mine. I walked out of the closet and checked upon Nari who was still sleeping peacefully, I checked her diaper which was surprisingly not heavy today, I woke up Eun-woo and Yuri I walked downstairs to prepare the formula milk for Nari as it was almost time for her to wake up.
