"Okay, I don't want you shifting in here, you'll freak everyone out."

"Don't worry." I held her hand just in case.

"Okay," she sighed "first time I bumped into you, I was with Blaise for about a month then."

"I know." I will never forget that day.

"I'm sure you do, back then he was sweet, only slapping me or punching my sometimes but then he used to 'make' up to me by taking me out or something. Then after I met you he got worse, thinking that I was sleeping around and sometimes taking out his anger on me for 'business' stuff, he used to shout 'who does he think he is, power my ass, I should be leader not him' I think now he means the Alpha, is that right?" I nodded and she kept going "I did come in this hospital five times before that but it was nothing like this, maybe a broken nose or some cuts and a twisted arm once. Breath David." I can't, I let go of her hand a held on to the bed for dear life but I couldn't breath, its as if I was reliving her injuries. "Go-go on, don't worry." She looked worried but kept going.

"Anyways I'm going to tellyou the worst part of it now and I need you to breath and stay sane for me. He raped me David, the day that I met you, he took my virginity as a punishment." 

I can't! My wolf is getting out.

"David?"

"Danny!" I growled and he was next to me in a second.

"What happened?" He asked Claire.

"I was telling him about Blaise and he-he- I don't know!" She shouted.

"Claire! What is going on?" Great! Now her parents are here.

"David breath from your nose and rhink of something else." Danny calmed voice triggered me even more.

"I can't God damn it! He's taking control! He wants him! Dead!" Don't you dare fucking shift! 

'He hurt and raped our mate!'  

'Can't you see humans standing! We will revenge her! Settle the fuck down!' I felt him retreat back, growling at me.

"I'm fine Danny, let me go." It seems to be that Danny held me down by my hands and legs to control me. I didn't even feel it.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah." He got off me and I stood up, my eyes immediately looking at Claire and she seemed scared. Of me. I went to her and took her hand "I'm so sorry Claire, I really am. I don't know what happened to me, I'm sorry, it won't happen again, I promise, please don't be scared." Her face turned into confusion as she looked at me.

"Scared? David I wasn't scared 'of' you, I was scared 'for' you. I didn't know what was happening."

"I love you Claire, with all my heart." I said honestly not caring about who is watching at the moment.

"I love you too." I swear I had to keep myself from crying, I never thought I was going to hear her say it. She pulled my head downwards and kissed me, I had to kiss her softly so that her lips don't hurt. Someone cleared their throat and we stopped, looked at each other and smiled.

"Mr and Mrs Hanley?" All six of us turned our head to the doorway, where my father stood, his hair ruffled and breathing hard.

"What happened dad?" I knew something was up. We all did.

"We almost caught him. Almost." He said looking at me.

"What do you mean by almost?" I said my anger rising.

"I mean that he was outside the country and then decided to come back to see his pack- I mean his parents." He looked at Claire's family and smiled.
