"Dora, you need to eat something." I told her as I took the spot next to her at the table. She pushed her eggs around on the plate.

"No."

"Nymphadora Tonks."

"Nova Potter." I gave her a look. She never called me and Reg aunt and uncle. We never made her. We didn't mind just being Nova and Regulus to her.

"One bite. Toast, eggs, fruit, anything." She looked up at me.

"Has anyone told you you'd make a really annoying big sister?"

"All my life."

"I'm not hungry." She pushed the plate away.

"You haven't eaten in two days." I pushed it back towards her. She glared at me.

"I want to go back to Uncle Sirius' house."

"Maybe I can make that happen, but first you have to eat." I pushed her plate back towards her. We stared at each other. Reg walked in the kitchen and glanced between the two of us.

"How old are you now, Dora?" He asked. She scoffed.

"Uncle Sirius knows."

"Yeah well Uncle Sirius also harbors you when you sneak out at night, forgive me just this once."  I shot him a look, there was no need to get that snippy with a ten year old.

"I'm ten." He nodded.

"Course you are. Look, I know you haven't been around Nova long and you don't like that you're here but I can promise you neither one of you is getting up from that table until you eat," He shrugged. "And that really sucks for the rest of us because I'm not a good cook and Nova is the only person around here to cook all the meals."

"I'll make you a deal." I told her, she cocked her head at me.

"Go on."

"You're pissed you're here, right?" She nodded. "You just want to go back to Sirius' that's fine, it's cramped here anyways. I'll go get your mum and dad to let you go stay with them for the next few days once you eat that plate."

"You're a liar."

"I don't lie."

"Talk to my parents first."

"Take three bites, call it collateral." She glared over at me. I smiled. She grabbed her toast and took three bites. I looked up at Reg. "Make sure she doesn't spit that out." I met Andy and Ted in the living room.

"Is she eating?" Andy asked, worry dripped from her voice. I nodded.

"I'm not going to lie to you guys, she's not happy here. She wants to be with Sirius. She knows him better than us, she feels safer there." Ted nodded.

"Can I ring Sirius?" Andy asked. I nodded and handed her the mirror. She walked to the guest bedroom.

"How do you know how to deal with that?" Ted asked. I smiled.

"I was just like her when I was ten. I always wanted to be with my grandparents. My nan was my best friend." I told him.

"I meant the eating."

"Oh, I, well to be frank, I struggle with eating when I'm upset as well. Always have." He nodded. Andy walked back in the room with a sigh.

"Okay, Sirius said we can stay there for a few days until this whole thing blows over. Thank you again, Nova. I'll tell Dora to pack her bags." I grabbed her arm as she pushed past me.

"Oh no, me and your daughter made a deal. She's eating before she leaves." Andy smiled.

"Bless you." She pulled me into a hug. I giggled and made my way back to the kitchen. I sat down beside Dora.
