"Asher!" Gabriel yells, swinging Asher's bedroom door open, displaying a sight he didn't know he would see.

Asher was at his desk with an assortment of brushes and lipsticks. When Gabriel confronted the brunette, his eyes widened.

Asher was wearing a full face of makeup with a red-tainted hue on his plump lips. Asher flutters his long eyelashes at the blonde before quickly standing up and pushing the blonde out.

"Get out," Asher shrieked, desperately trying to shove the blonde from his room. Gabriel gripped the side of the door, preventing the brunette from closing it.

"Wait, why are you wearing makeup, Asher?" Gabriel asked, still barricading the door from being shut.

"That's none of your business," Asher said, frustrated by the blonde's force.

"I know it's not, but I want to know. I'm not going to judge you for it," the blonde said, forcing the door open further, cringing once it slammed on the wall with a loud bang.

Asher stepped back, startled at the blonde's action. He examined Gabriel with knitted eyebrows, agitated by the blonde's interruption.

"Is it weird? Am I a freak for liking makeup? For wearing it. Tell me".

Gabriel straightened his posture. "I don't think it's weird. I think you look perfect," the blonde said, softening his eyes. Asher flinched at the blonde's answers.

He always thought his friends would laugh at or judge him for it,  but when he heard those words from Gabriel, he started believing him.

"You think I look good," Asher mumbled, worried the blonde was lying.

"I think you look lovely," Gabriel said, grinning at the brunette's shocked expression. And with that, Asher felt tears falling down his face, ruining his makeup.

He began to sob harder, attempting to brush off his tears so he wouldn't waste his makeup, but he just made it worse.

Gabriel smiles before wrapping his arms around the brunette's delicate waist, cuddling his petite figure.

Asher flinches before relaxing in the blonde's touch, slowly wrapping his arms around the blonde's back, crying into his shoulder. Gabriel reaches Asher's hair, playing with his soft curls.

"Ash, I don't care what you wear or what you like to do. I'm going to accept you no matter what"

Asher choked on his tears, gripping Gabriel's shoulder, sensing the blonde's hand rubbing his back. Asher lifted his head, staring into the blonde's emerald eyes.

Gabriel cupped the brunette's cheek, wiping his tears away with his thumb. The blonde caresses his cheek, gradually leaning forward and glancing at his lips.

Asher senses the blonde's motive and steps out, leaving him disappointed. Gabriel's heart sinks as Asher pulls away, leaving him disappointed. He watches as Asher takes a step back, his eyes filled with a mix of fear and uncertainty.

"I'm sorry, Gabriel," Asher whispers, his voice trembling. "I can't... I can't do this right now."

Gabriel's brows furrowed in confusion, but he respected Asher's boundaries. He slowly withdraws his hand, giving Asher the space he needs.

Deep down, Gabriel understands that Asher is going through something, something that he may not fully comprehend at the moment.

"It's okay, Ash," Gabriel says softly, his voice laced with concern. "Take all the time you need. Just know that I'm here for you, no matter what."

Asher nods, appreciating Gabriel's understanding. He takes a shaky breath, attempting to calm his racing thoughts and emotions.

The weight of his struggles feels heavy on his shoulders, but knowing that Gabriel is by his side brings a glimmer of hope.

"I... I just need to figure things out," Asher admits, his voice barely above a whisper. "I need to understand myself before I can fully let someone else in."

Gabriel nods, his expression filled with empathy.

"I'll be right here, Ash," Gabriel says, his voice unwavering. "Whenever you're ready, I'll be here to listen, to support you."

A small, grateful smile tugs at the corners of Asher's lips. He takes a step closer to Gabriel, feeling the warmth and comfort radiating from him.

This time, he doesn't step away. Instead, he leans into Gabriel's embrace, seeking solace in his presence.

"Thank you, Gabriel," Asher whispers, his voice filled with a mixture of vulnerability and gratitude. "I don't know what I would do without you."

Gabriel holds Asher tighter, his heart swelling with love and determination.
