i got into jss 1 at the age of 9. well, 9 years and 11 months, so you could say 10. there was this obese girl, but she was tall. well, tall from my perspective. i'm currently 5ft, so i wouldn't know. but the extra height enabled her to carry her weight fairly well, even though she was fat. she used to get the lowest grades in class. we thought she had a big butt then, but she was just fat. she also had really large boobs. she made us feel that having large boobs and butt was the most important thing a girl could have. she introduced us to butt exercises and stuff like that. i know now that she was (and probably still is) extremely insecure. but of course, we tend to project our insecurities on other people. so i guess she was just trying to make herself fit in. that was the beginning of my insecurities.
