like in the case of helen, i needed fake friends to know who my real friends were.
during that time, it felt as though i were an outcast in the class. but there were two other friends who stuck with me, even when i told them that they would possibly get hated for liking me.
one of them realized how toxic those other girls were, and also cut them off. we became very close, and still are.
those girls were there for me when i needed them. if i could change anything about that time in my life, i wouldn't. i had to lose my fake friends to know my real ones.
