Chapter 5: The deceivers, the prisoners, and the runaways Part 2

~Leo & Karai~

'There you are. Why do you avoid me?' Kitsune asked. Leo was used to this by now. No way to move his body, no way to escape.

He moved his eyes so that he could look her in the face. 'You should know why. I want nothing to do with you, this curse is our father's, not ours.'

'And how do you know that that rodent is your father?' She asked, it sounded like more of a rhetorical question. 'He's lied to you for so long...and yet you still believe him. Like I said before, you are of no use to me unless you grow up.'

Leo stared at her for a moment before responding. 'Then I won't grow up...that way you can't get to me.'

Kitsune laughed.

'Poor child, you really think you can stay young forever? By the end of tonight, you'll have completely forgotten what it's like to be a child...'

~Splinter and the 'remaining'~

Raphael crouched over the edge of the building. He was nauseous, not from the lack of sleep, from the horrible thing he'd just done.

Blood covered hands, blood covered legs, everything was covered in blood. 'Murderer!' His mind yelled. 'Killer! What have you done? Did you not see that it was your father who was evil?'

"Go away!" He shouted at the vast and star-filled sky above him. He wanted all of this to end. He wanted to...why? Why did he want to?

"Leo...you and Karai didn't deserve this, father did..." he could feel tears forming at the tips of his eyes.

"I just...I wish we'd had more time, I wish we didn't fight!" He yelled. The stars mocked him.

'He'll never forgive you!'

"Leave me alone!"

'He feels like this all the time'

"Stop it!"

'You know what you have to do now...'

"I would never kill my father!"

'But look at how he suffers...'

Ralph's head jolted back, his third eye opening.

He looked around. An empty void awaited him. And, his brother.

"Leo!" He cried out as his brother left with Kitsune.

Then his world faded back to the city he'd started in. 'No! No! No!' His mind screamed. "It was too late...I'm sorry, Leo..." and he let a silent tear slide down his face.

~Mikey~

He cried all night...all night...

Crash!

He looked up from his shell. "H-hello?" He asked the black room.

"Mikey? Oh, thank goodness! I thought I'd never find you! In about 10 minutes it'll have been two days since you ran away." Jennika stumbled over to Mikey.

He chanced at the shattered watch. 'Oh...it has...' he was in a really low mood.

"Oh, Mikey, where's your super happy/active energy?" Jenny said, crouching down by him.

"It left when Leo did..." he pushed his face into the shoulder of his bigger sister.

"Leo's not dead Mikey...just...gone." She said, placing her head on his.
