AN: yeah...the image was drawn on paper (p.s. it's Leo). Anyways, we're nearing the end, and I'm probably gonna write two or three more chapters, anyway, hope you enjoy!

She pushed open the door, peeking inside to see if anyone was there. She could've sworn that she'd heard someone yelling, but the room was just empty and dark, no lights working.

"Hello?" She tried.

A loud groaning sound game from the back corner of the room. She stayed in place, unsure whether to help them or not.

"Are...are you okay?" She stammered, walking fully into the room. She couldn't see anything.

"I...know...who...leave...me" it growled. She stopped.

"What do you mean you know who?" She asked.

"Who...you...are..." it moaned in pain. She continued to head towards it.

"No...shhh, I'm only here to help, you sound like you're in a lot of pain." She replied, trying to sound truthful.

"Help...how?" It rasped. "I know that it hurts to be under the control of Kitsune, I know very well. There is someone I know, someone who can help." She started.

"Who?" It asked. "A friend, but first, I need to know, can you swim?"

————

"Well, that was boring." Mikey said, flopping onto his mattress.

Klunk, a white Persian cat, purred as he rested on top of Mikey's shell.

"I wonder if my siblings are doing alright." Mikey said absentmindedly.

"We're fine," a voice said from the door.

"Raph?!" Mikey exclaimed, bouncing out of bed, to which Klunk didn't appreciate, and rushing up to Raph.

"Mikey! It's so good to see you!" He said, hugging his younger brother.

"So, um...why are you here?" Mikey asked.

Raph glanced at the door, and Venus, Jenny and Donnie walked in, followed by two mutants that Mikey didn't recognize.

"We're here because we found our father, but we wanted to get everybody's opinion." Raph said, walking up to Mikey.

"That means..." "the fate of our father's life depends on you." Venus finished for him.

Mikey thought about this for a moment. 'If I chose to kill father, then we'd get Leo back, not just him, but Karai, too. But if I don't...would I be known as a traitor to my whole family? Would they even come and visit me anymore?'

He looked up at them.

"I chose..."

————

"Where is he?!" Kitsune yelled, pushing the figure that was Karai into a wall.

"We were h-h-hunting, like you instructed," she stammered, "w-w-when we went into the abandoned warehouse, w-we were a-a-attacked."

"By whom?" Kitsune demanded.

Karai looked back and forth, as if trying to remember something from a long time ago, or maybe from last night, considering her memory damage.

"I don't know who, w-w-we couldn't see them." Karai said, squinting her eyes, thinking that Kitsune would punish her.

Kitsune backed away from Karai. She looked happy about something.

"Oh, my darling, leave, this is not a good place for you to be when your siblings save you tomorrow." Kitsune said sweetly.

"B-b-but what about y-y-you, and Leo?" She asked, walking towards the door.

"We will be fine." Kitsune said, "and I will be waiting for you on the other side."

The cold water always felt good on his skin. He didn't know why it looked how it did, maybe to hide his identity.

He could feel the presence of the girl that had come to talk with him a few days ago. She was with something else, something who's darkness was the only thing he could sense, but if he really made an effort there was pain.

That had to be Kitsune's work, no doubt. A few bubbles arose from the place where he was kicking his feet, he looked at the door behind him, kind of like one you'd expect to see on a submarine.

The female swam up to him, "greetings," he said when she was within earshot.

She frowned, pulling the figure behind her up to her chest, and then pushing it at him.

"Hm...his darkness is horribly strong, I want nothing to do with the dark side." He said.

"I know, but you can undo the curse, right?" She pleaded.

He shook his head, "no, I cannot, because I know who this is, a young teenage boy from the Hamato clan, and this is not a curse of his own doing."

"Then whose, might I ask, is it?" She replied with suspicion.

He laughed.

"His father did this, who else is so cruel?"

"Kitsune," she said through bared teeth.

"You're right, but I know this child's father. Leonardo Hamato, welcome home." He said, rubbing the head of the black, gooey thing.

It shifted back into what it was, a mutant turtle.

"Home...?" He asked, curling up.

"Yes, home. After all, you're with your 'dead' uncle," he replied.

He glanced at Leo once more before continuing.

"Yes, it is I, Oroku Saki, Shredder, whatever you want to call me, risen from the dead by Kitsune, my sole purpose is to break the curse. I have to kill Splinter."

AN: wasn't Raph gonna kill Splinter? Oh boy, now it's a race for who can get to him first! Thanks for reading!
