Adaa e ishq XI

"Amma, aap sach mein unhe talaq de rahi hain?" Benazir frowned at her tayi ammi. Things are really changing spontaneously. Today Khurram came to her hostel and asked her to come with him and then he left her at his maternal home. When she entered, her tayi's brother came and greeted her and called tayi and then they started gossiping about everything. They did talk on phone everyday but this was first time they talked face to face in three months. And tayi filled her with everything, her brothers were coming time to time and asked her about something to eat but she hushed they away. (Amma, you are actually divorcing him?)

"Haan, toh aur kya pehle socha tha ki Meera ki life ek baar set ho jaye to alag ho jaungi magar tumhare sign na karne ke baad to wo bardast ke bahar ho gaye." Tayi said gulping a glass of juice. (Yes, I thought I will leave him after Meera do something in her life but after you didn't signed the papers he was out of control.)

Benazir was confused, why she left her taya and if it was for financial support then how she will manage now, "Aap handle kar lengi akele?" (You will handle it alone?)

"Kyun nhi, Khurram ki Naukri lag hi gayi." Tayi cried cursing her husband and then called her closer and whispers in her ear, "Maine chupke se CTET ka exam diya tha. Tumhe bhi pata hai tumhari amma kitni smart hai. Joining letter aa gaya h." (Why not, Khurram already have a job) (I sat for CTET exam. You know right, that your amma is so smart. I have got joining letter)

This was more surprising for her. A total new experience, so her tayi don't need any financial support but why she endured him for ages, for her kids? "Woahhhhh, Amma aap kahan thi itne saalon se. Achanak se. Aapki bardast ko khatam hone mein kuch jyada time nhi lag gaya." (Amma, where were you there years? Suddenly. Your limit took ages to end)

Tayi wanted to tell her but for her she was still young to understand this but one day Benazir will understand that why it was happening. So, she changed the topic, she told her about her but she wanted to know about Benazir, "Bahut lambi kahani. Tum apni socho. Tumhara wo college ka senior kafi mulaqat hoti hai uski Khurram se. Kuch chal raha hai kya tumlogo ke bich?" (Long story. You think about yourself. Your college senior always meets Khurram. Something happening between you two?)

Hearing this Benazir face turned red, she asked, "Matlab?" (Means?)

Tayi wanted to laugh at this moment just because she didn't her for three months it doesn't mean that she won't understand anything, Benazir was obvious, "Matlab kya matlab, chup chap batao warna tumhare liye wo waqilo ke chakkar kyun kat'ta?" (Means what means, tell me clearly, why dis he hire a lawyer for you?)

Tayi gave a slight slap on her back when Benazir asked about Khurram, "Khurram bhai kahan hain?" (Where is Khurram bhai?)

This was obvious that Benazir didn't knew anything about Karim hiring a lawyer for her and now tayi have to tell her.

Benazir saw Karim was talking to prof. when she entered in the library. After their conversation was over Benazir greeted prof and called Karim, "Karim sir?"

Karim gave her a big smile and called her name very sweetly, "Naaz?" Prof was looking at them with his open mouth, librarian eyes were bulge out and every student there were stealing glances at them. She really wanted to kick Karim for this embarrassing situation, she gave him an angry look and signed him to come out.

After running away from everyone's intense gaze, she finally looked at his face and he was still beaming at her like a fool, ignoring that she asked him, "Can we talk?"

Now Karim senses something was different this time, "About what?"

"Everything." She answered.

He held her face with his chin, getting attention from her, he asked her, "Want to step into my world?"

Benazir cuts her lips slightly, "I don't know if I can." She was scared. Karim rubs her lips where she made a cut and gave a little peck, "I'm with you right? I will keep holding you at every step. I want to know about you and want you to know about me."

Benazir too wanted to know about him, she was not sure what changes she has to do in herself, in her life but she wanted to be with him. Slowly, with a shivering hand she held his hand, he squeezes her hand a little and welcomed her, "Come"

Benazir and Karim were in his house with lots of snacks and lots of photo album. She met Yasin aunty who is actually Karim's dadi. Well, she would not be surprised if one day he says that he is an alien.

Everything about him was in front of her, she was looking at the album and he was looking at her. When she told him that she is scared to be with him, scared that how she will change herself for him, he just looked angrily at her and said, she doesn't need to change herself or anything, "I went to through many changes Naaz. I know how hard that is. So, I only want you to be with me. We will support each other. We will love each other, make a family with each other." Benazir looked away at his last sentence, he looked at her and he too get flustered, "You don't have behave like this. I was just saying it casually."

"Hmm"

"Naaz, you know. First, I thought you are different from me but then thought you are same as me but in a different way. I wanted to explore your way and got more curious and when did I actually started loving you, hmmm, don't ask. But I know it just started spontaneously and my feeling become more deeper for you and when you told me you don't have parents. I knew that I need you in my life, I wanted to support you, give you what I couldn't get so that you don't have to go through anything. Naaz, are listening to me?" he was sharing his feeling to her and saw that she was not saying anything.

Benazir smiled at him and said, "I am. I was just experiencing the moment you have to go through many times, where I would speak for hours and you would listen to me for hours. It's really satisfying. Is it because I love you?"

Karim smiled and nodded his head then he wondered. Did she confess to him?
