Wrong.

Saw Paing sat on the edge of his bed in sorrow; his face buried in his hands, his form slouched forward as his thoughts raced, feeling like his world was crumbling upon what he just happened to overhear.

His village was in grave danger if he doesn't win his next fight against Mikazuchi. He knew he was a strong fighter himself, yet there was that underlying uncertainty in the pit of his gut, making him slowly doubt himself and his abilities, which was something that just slowly made things worse for the Burmese man.

Yet something passed his mind; a certain advice given by a certain short, radiant girl back from the first time they met.

"The mind is a powerful place, which you can feed it can affect you in powerful ways. With that being said, find me any time you feel the need to talk.. so we can feel miserable together!~"

He hummed softly, just remembering her voice and the way she spoke made him smile gently. He stood up from his bed, and as soon as he opened his door, another one just closed, pretty loudly at that. He furrowed his brows softly, noticing which door it actually was.

Perfect timing, she just arrived back.

His face softened slightly, closing his door behind him. However, the more he neared her door, the colder and more sinister the air became, a soft scowl starting to show on his face, but it wasn't until he stood in front of her door, when he felt cold sweat starting to cover his skin.

Unironically speaking, not even as a joke, Saw Paing thought maybe she was summoning Satan himself out of boredom from how evil and dark of a pressure seeped through the small opening from under the door, because that really sounded like something she would do.

He raised his arm hesitantly, knocking on the door as he called her name out. Though no answer came, only some soft shuffling was heard behind the door. Saw waited a few more seconds, and knocked again.

Again, nothing but silence was the answer, and he hummed to himself again.

"Nova, I'm coming in." He declared gently, yet as soon as he grasped the door handle, something told him not to go in. The metal handle felt suspiciously cold, giving the whole ordeal an even eerier feeling; but his mamma didn't raise no pussy either, and he turned the handle, pushing the door open softly.

As he looked around, nothing but the empty room, and the same dangerous feeling greeted his amber irises. The room felt cold, but Saw only blamed the room temperature on the opened balcony, not realizing that though it wasn't summer outside, it wasn't winter either, and the night air wasn't as cold. Confusion arose in him, seeing the empty room and the widely opened bathroom, also empty.

"Did I imagine her door closing..?" Saw thought  to himself as he looked around with his phone's flashlight turned on, her room was relatively clean, yet an orange tint of something small and glassy glinted next to her bed, catching his attention. His eyebrows furrowed even more as he reached out for the empty glass bottle, inspecting it in his hand.

"Clonazepam..? Is this some sort of birth control pill?"

He asked himself out loud, feeling a little iffy about the situation. Snooping around a woman's bedroom wasn't something that sat well with himself. He even forgot what he came for in the first place as he kept reading the small words.

Benzodiazepine.

"I don't know big sounding words.." He muttered out to himself as he started walking out of her room with the mind to take the bottle to Hanafusa tomorrow, not noticing a dark presence behind the door in the corner of the room, the demonic embodiment of the darkness clouding the room like dark smoke.
