I walk out of Chicago airport and get into a taxi. god, am i really doing this?
Taylor: Can you take me to the Alibi room please? Driver: Yeah, sure. I haven't been there in ages, i look so different. What if they don't remember me? Does Kevin still work there? Then we stop outside of the Alibi room, i give the driver $10 and then get out the car and shut the door. I bring myself together and walk into the bar. Kevin turns his head at the ring of the bells above the door, i see a smile form on his face as he runs over to me. Kevin: Oh my god, your- your back! Drink on the house. Come on, sit down. Taylor: Thanks Kev, i've missed this place. How long has it been? Like 1-2 years? Kevin: Yeah, you used to come in here all the time. Then me and Kevin talk more and then the bells ring and i turn to see the one and only Mandy Milkovich. I turn my head and she screams. Mandy: Oh my god!! Taylor, are you coming back? Taylor: Yeah, i just came to see Kev. Mandy: Come on you need to see Mickey. I nod and finish my drink, then Mandy drags my hand out the bar. Taylor: Bye Kev!!
Me and Mandy get in her car and she drives to our house, it looks no different. We get out of the car and walk in to see Mickey sat on the couch with a beer. He turns his head and sees me, i swear i saw a little smile. He gets up and hugs me. Mickey: When the fuck did you get back? Taylor: Today. I just went to the Alibi room for a bit. Mickey: Want a beer? Taylor: Sure. Then Mandy and Mickey sit on the couch and i sit on the comfy chair. Taylor: So what's being going on around here? Mickey: Not a lot. Mandy: Yeah, it's no different from when you left. Taylor: Have i still got my room? Mandy: The exact same. I get up and walk into my room, no different from when i left it. I sit on my bed and look around and just smile. Then i hear stumbling in the living room, i walk out the room to see my dad.. Terry. He's clearly drunk, i just stand there until he notices me. Terry: Taylor? Taylor: H-Hi dad. I force a smile and then he hugs me, must be in a good mood today. Taylor: Guys i'm gonna go look for a job. Mandy: There looking for a job in Kash and Grab. Taylor: Oh, i'll get an application form now. I walk back into my room and find an application online. I print it out and leave the house.
I start walking to Kash and Grab and i finally get there. I walk in to see a cute, freckly ginger stood behind the counter and a tall, mixed race man restocking the shelves. Taylor: Hi, I filled out a job application. Kash: Okay, hand it to Ian. I'm guessing Ian, is the cute ginger behind the counter. I walk over and smile and pass it to Ian, then I wave at them both. Taylor: Hope to see you guys soon. Kash: We'll see. I nod and then look at Ian again, then i walk out and go back home. I walk into my room and get changed into this:

I walk back out of my room to see Iggy and Mickey smoking a cigarette. I walk over and grab it out of Iggy's hand and smoke it, he gets up and hugs me. Iggy: Hey Tay, when did you get back? Taylor: Today, where the hell have you been? Iggy: I was just chasing some dudes. I giggle and then go to walk out the door before i hear Mickey speak. Mickey: Where are you going? Taylor: The Alibi room. Then i walk out the door and to the Alibi room. Kermit: Your back? Taylor: Hello Kermit. Where's Kev? Frank: Getting some more beers. Taylor: Frank? Not seen you in a hot minute. Frank: Yep, here he comes now. Then Kevin walks back behind the bar. I smile as he hands me a pint of beer. Kevin: Your back again? Taylor: Yeah, just wanted to get out of the house i'm bored. Kevin: Fair enough, we should throw a welcome home party here at the Alibi tonight. A party? For me? God, i've missed this place. In New York, it was never about me.
Taylor: Sure, invite anyone you want. I don't know that many people around here anymore. Kevin: Yeah, okay. Can you go to Kash and Grab and get 3 cases of beers? Here's the money. Taylor: Yeah sure, i'll be back in a minute. I take the money and walk out of the bar, i walk around the corner to Kash and Grab. To see only Ian there, Kash must be somewhere else. I walk to the fridge and get 3 cases of beers, it's pretty obvious I'm struggling to carry them. I finally get them to the front and I pay for them. Ian: Can i help you carry that? Taylor: Are you sure? Shouldn't you be looking after the store. Ian: No, Kash is only at the back getting a few more things. He'll be back in a minute, come on.
Then he takes one of the cases and i have one and he has 2. Then we walk around the corner to the Alibi room. We walk in and put the cases on the table. Kevin: Finally, you got them! Taylor: Yeah, i had a little help. Kevin: Oh hey Ian, we're having a welcome home party for Taylor later. You should come. Ian: I'll be there! I smile and then Ian walks back out, I help Kevin put some decorations up and then it comes to 7pm and then people start arriving. A whole group comes in together. A tall girl with wavy brown hair, a tall blonde boy, the cute ginger from the store, a small redhead girl, a small blonde/brunette boy. Then they walk over to Frank. They must be Franks family, oh my god. Ian is Frank's son. How could i be so stupid? They don't look alike at all. Then a black girl walks in and goes behind the bar and kisses Kevin. Must be his girl friend. Then more and more people start coming. Including my family. Then i see Kevin stood on a chair at the front raising his beer.
Kevin: Quite please, so i am glad to announce Taylor Milkovich back in town everyone! Whoever has been coming to the Alibi for years will remember her coming in every Wednesday and Sunday for a drink then passing out. So let's raise a glass to Taylor!!!
Then everyone cheers and takes a sip of their drink, Kevin gets down and i go over and hug him. Kevin: So Taylor this is the Gallagher Family and my girlfriend Veronica. These are- Do you remember Ian, who helped you before? This is his family and you remember Frank, this is his family too. That's Fiona and Lip, then Ian obviously, then there's Debbie and Carl. There's also Liam but he's not here. Taylor: Nice to meet you all. They all smile and then we all get a massive group photo. Then we drink a lot and eventually Mickey and Mandy take me home.
