The Third Wheel

"I'm serious guys, he had purple eyes and fangs grew out his nails as he threatened, he said he was gonna come to my house at night and kill me. I haven't slept since then, I'm gonna go apologize to him when I see him" said Armstrong as he walked into the school premises with other class mates.

          "Guys, I heard Diana is back" said one of his classmates."Are you serious?" Armstrong asked ."Now she and Rochelle are gonna have issues because I heard since Rochelle came on Friday people be saying she looks better than Diana and Diana has been the school's beauty pageant winner for years now" ,he added. Let's see what happens...

          Diana is coming guys!!!! Someone screamed somewhere in the lobby and every other student gathered murmuring and making sure their phones are ready to record, Incase Diana decides to put Rochelle in her place concerning the rumor going around, "Diana looking so beautiful as always, lovely skin, short girl, how can she be so beautiful after she just returned to school after being sick for 2weeks".Ryan thought to himself.

       More than a year now, Ryan has had a crush on Diana, but she was the school's most beautiful girl and he was, well... he was just "Ryan" one of the kids Armstrong bullies up until last week when he stood up to Armstrong. Diana walked into the lobby and noticed everyone staring, it was normal to her because she'd always been the center of the school since she joined but she already heard about Rochelle and she knew people wanted to know how she'd handle the rumor.......

      She walked towards Rochelle and said "Hi there Rochelle". "Hi" while Diana was trying to introduce herself Rochelle took it out of her mouth, "you're Diana, yh I heard a lot about you, apparently they all think someone like me dares to outreach your seat on the most elegant lady in the school.I mean can they see all these a$$ and face you're carrying, two of me wouldn't dare. They both burst into laughter and walk together to class, the whole school was disappointed by this and they all went to their various classes.

      Ryan standing there looking at two of the most beautiful girls in school, which he has a crush on, thinking about what happened between him and Rochelle during the weekend, he was about to lose before Armstrong walked up to him and fell on his knees. "Please forgive me, don't kill me, I'll never get involved with you ever again, I can't sleep at night am so scared that when I fall asleep I see you in my dreams". "Are you gay?" Ryan asked as Everyone watching bursted into laughter "I don't understand why you're doing this Armstrong, I was planning to beg today so you would stop bullying me, what's going on" tries to look as clueless as he can be.....

        He bends to pull Armstrong from the ground and whispers into his ears in the process "If you ever bully anyone in the school again, I'm really going to kill me". Goes back to acting clueless "Come on man you're scaring me, please get up from the ground.I should be the one down there begging you to spare my life" .Now everyone started thinking maybe Armstrong was crazy, how can someone like Ryan really threaten him, he was strong and always beats students. Ryan left the conversation and walked towards his class's door thinking about his mistresses.

       He brought the door wide open and saw Rochelle already seated, "there is no way to escape this" he thought to himself. On sitting down beside her they both said at the same time "hey, hello" ."Now this is weird" he thought to himself, "Thanks a lot for helping out with moving in on Friday, my mom really appreciates you"."She talks about how tall you are all the time" Rochelle said. "Well you can tell to stop thanking me ever chance she gets, and if she ever needs to hang something I'll be happy to help.

       "Isn't she going to talk about what happened in her room". "It could have been a peck on the lips but it meant a lot to me, it makes me confused, are we a thing now? Does this mean she likes me? I need to say something about it" ."Hey Rochelle about Friday', "Everyone get seated now!" the lecturer cuts into his sentence and now he lost the chance to talk about it.They both looked at the lecturer and brought out their books and laptops and the lecture began.

        Class was over and Ryan just sat there using his phone and trying to put his EarPods on, then he heard a voice saying "Hey Ryan, how you doing, thanks for checking up on me when I wasn't feeling too well", "you're welcome Diana, it's nothing" Ryan replied. "What are you doing this weekend Diana asked, Ryan shocked but trying to act cool he replied "Depends on why you're asking" Diana paused for a while she continues "Well I'm free and I thought maybe we could meet up outside school and then I can get to thank you properly for checking on me on several locations.

         Ryan was so happy that he couldn't speak,  he just nodded his head and smiled until Rochelle came walking him from the restroom and sitting beside him, "hi" she said to Diana ."Hi Rival" they both scoffed as Diana responded to her. "I'll text you and let you know where to meet up" she said as she left for her seat, Ryan looking down, smiling not  even paying attention to Rochelle who was seated beside him, "What are you doing this weekend"? Rochelle asked breaking the silence, Ryan just thought he was remembering what Diana said earlier so he didn't respond.

         "Ryan, Ryan! You okay?" "Yeah I am fine," Ryan replied. "I just spaced out for a little bit". "Alright then, are you free this weekend?" "Hun, what?" Confused Ryan didn't know what to say at the moment and he just kept looking at Rochelle in the face trying to figure out what to say. "Well, my mom wants to have dinner and she said I should invite you over, so she can thank you properly"."No she doesn't have to do that",Ryan said as he thought that would get him out of the twisted situation."Well she's not the only one who wants to eat dinner with you actually so if you're not coming because of her just do because of me".

         Walking back home from school, Ryan had a lot on his mind, he had two girls ask him out for the weekend and he wanted to meet with both of them, one who he had a little something and one who he has had a crush on since he got to the school. On getting home,he just slept off from being so tired.

        Saturday morning, Laura knocks on Ryan's room door, "Son ,you need to get up, it's 11pm, how long do you intents to stay in bed for" Laura said as she brought the door wide open and went straight to open the curtains ma, knowing well that Ryan doesn't like light shining in to his eyes, Ryan rolls on the bed for a minute and finally seats up, grabs his phone and went to the bathroom, he seats on the closet opening his room to see 2notifications.
"Hey, this Rochelle the dinner is at 5pm I'll be expecting you" he reads the first one. The other one read,"Hey, I hoped you'd get back to me, but since you didn't, can we meet up at the restaurant close to the school at 5pm, I'd expect your reply". He dropped his phone as if he was holding a snake.

         He gets back to his room and sits on his bed thinking about what to do, he then picks up his phone looking determined, he places a number on call and said "hey morning, I got your text, I'll be there by 5pm" he drops the phone and goes downstairs to get breakfast....(to be continued)
