Butterflies

           Monday morning was here again, Ryan got up early and prepared for school, getting to school his first concern was Diana, he wanted to check on her due to the incident during the weekend but he couldn't find her, He retreated to his desk in class and checked his phone for a while before Rochelle came in "Hey Ryan" she said as she sat beside him and stretched out her hand to gist an handshake from him.

         "Hi Rochelle, am really sorry I couldn't make it to the dinner, I had to take care of something else during the weekend but I'm willing to try again if your mom is generous enough to ask me Ryan said as he stretches his hand to acknowledge the handshake. "It's fine, I understand you were busy, if the weekend is too packed for you maybe we could try it again on a weekday" Rochelle responded. "Whichever is fine actually" Ryan said.

          There was silence for a few minutes but then Ryan broke the silence "How about today after class, we walk home together, I get changed and we get lunch together at your place" "that'll be fine then , let's do that" Rochelle replied while smiling as she brought out her cellphone to text her mom that she'll be having a visitor over. "By the way have you seen Diana today?"Ryan asked "Yeah I saw her like 10minutes ago in the school hall" Ryan stood up immediately before letting her finish her sentence and walked out of the class .

           Getting to the hall Ryan saw Diana finally and she looked fine, he sighed from relief and walked towards her "Hey Ryan, you look good" Diana said as she walked towards him "Are you okay?, hope your ankle doesn't hurt?" He asked as caught up with her. "Come on Ryan I told you to keep this on a low, I don't want anyone finding out I was kidnapped and almost raped, it's gonna tarnish my image" Diana responded and Ryan immediately apologized and they went to class together, "I guess you've seen her then" Rochelle said as Ryan sat back beside her and the lecturer came in to begin the lecture.

           After the class, Rochelle took off her hoodie due to the heat and what she was wearing under the hoodie caught Ryan's attention as he stared at her and was almost drooling, "wow, was she always this sexy?" Ryan thought, in response to his thoughts Rochelle said thank you and he was surprised "ohh Jesus did I say that out loud, am I saying this out loud too? Okay I need to shut Tf up or I'm gonna tell everyone everything about me at this rate" Ryan thought to himself as their next lecturer walked him and he organizes the class to start the lecture.

         They were done with class, but Rochelle was stopped by a guy while she was leaving class, he apparently likes her and would like to get her snap, but she didn't give it to him because she didn't really like him. Walking up to Ryan she apologized for keeping him waiting and they left school for house, they had several conversations on their way home and they laughed soo hard that their belly was beginning to ache them, it was soo fun and was Ryan's first time enjoying a conversation with a girl and it was nice.

          They were at Ryan's house after walking for a while, they got in and Rochelle sat on the dinning "just give me 10minutes I'll be done quickly" she nodded in agreement and he left for his room, Ryan went straight to his room, got undressed, went into the shower and came back out soo fast that he doubted if he was clean enough, got into a jogger and a shirt. Meanwhile downstairs Rochelle was walking around the kitchen before she heard a knock on the door and she decided to get it. As she brought the door wide open, she was amazed by who was at the other side.

        Ohh, Hi Diana said as she looked shocked too see Rochelle at Ryan's place, "Is this Ryan's place or am i in the wrong house" she added. Yeah, I mean No you're not in the wrong house, Ryan went upstairs to get changed, he'll be back soon, Come in and wait for him, as she walked in Ryan was coming downstairs already and noticed there were voices coming from his kitchen, he walked down faster and saw Diana.

        "Diana!!! What are you doing here?" He asked immediately, "well hello to you too" she responded "I looked around for you after school but couldn't find you then Armstrong said he saw you leave immediately after class so I thought I'd come home to see you" she added. Ryan walked slowly towards her as he nodded to show that he was following what she was saying "I am really sorry for the way I acted earlier, I wasn't really myself, and I also wanted to thank you for being there for me during the weekend I really appreciate how you stood up for me" Diana said.

         "It's fine actually, you're welcome" Ryan responded as he went towards the freezer to get water for himself and asked if they would like some, they both nodded in disagreement so he went to get his, a few minutes later Diana stood up and walked towards the door saying "I would leave you guys to continue what you were doing then, I don't want to be the Third wheel here, she opened the door and shut it on her way out, soo loud that Rochelle and Ryan looked at each other and Ryan said "that was weird", Rochelle just smiled and asked if he was ready to leave....

        On getting to Rochelle's place the table was already set and her mom left her a note, she picked up the note and it read "hey baby, am sorry I had to go settle something real quick, I cooked enough food for 3 so you both should just take what you can and leave the rest for your sister, I also left a condom on your wardrobe make sure you use it if need arises" she quickly looked up after reading the last part to make sure Ryan wasn't reading with her and he wasn't thankfully. "Well, my mom wouldn't be joining us, apparently she had to attend to something urgently, give me a few minutes while I get changed" she said as she left for her room.

         It was Ryan's second time in the house so he was a little bit comfortable, he sat on a sofa and rested his head, he was almost dozing off before he heard footsteps coming from up the stairs and he looked towards the direction and saw Rochelle coming, she wore a bum shot and a big top, she looked soo good that he had butterflies 🦋 in his bellies and he felt uncomfortable immediately, he stood up while staring and said "Your hair looks nice" Rochelle smiled as she sat at the dinning and invited him to sit too, they ate as they talked, after they finished eating they went to the corridor to sit and they continued to talk.

          Ryan checked his watch after a long while and he was shocked to see that it was 8:47pm already. "Wow, I've been here for more than 4hours, before I get scolded for breaking my curfew again I need to leave" He said as he stood up and looked sad to leave , "That's okay" Rochelle replied as she stood up in attempt to escort him home. "It was really nice spending time with you today" Ryan said as they left, "I also really enjoyed it and hope we can do this some other time.
          "You don't need to escort me it's late  and I wouldn't be rest assured to let you walk back home alone, "okay then see you tomorrow" Rochelle said as she stopped walking with him but kept on staring, Ryan looked back and caught her staring then he immediately turned back his face, then after a while he looked back again and she was still staring, he waved as he turned at an intersection..(To be continued)
