The journey

"Have you ever been here?" Ryan asks directing the question to Rochelle and Diana, "No, I've never gotten this far out of town" Rochelle replies, "neither have I" Diana also replies. "I'm not sure if we should go inside but we might never have the chance to be here again and it's like every teenagers dream in this city to be here, we've only heard about it from people who had gone" Ryan says as he waits for a sign of approval from the girls.

"We'll, I'm new in town so I don't really know what's so special about this place, but from where I'm standing it's look nice and ancient that I'm really interested in going in there, so I'm in" Rochelle says as she walks towards the building, Diana also follows reluctantly and they all approach the building. It was an ancient Armory, owned by one of the richest in the country, they had collected weapons from different country and stored there for sightseeing but it wasn't easy to get a pass inside.

This was their chance, hopefully they won't have to use a pass to enter. On entering the building, it was no longer intact, looked like people or something else has been here and they began to get a little nervous. "Am not sure this is a good idea, what if this is a trap by one of those things, I mean we could get eaten alive right now" Diana says in fear and Ryan responds "we are here already let's just go in and see how it looks like then we leave in 15minutes" He dips his hand into his pocket and brings out the pistol he had gotten from a dead body earlier.

Approaching the main entrance he holds the gun high and grips it's safely but ready, he has never used a gun but he had once carried years ago. But he has seen movies where they use gun so he says to himself, it shouldn't be that hard, I just pull the trigger right here and boom Dead!!. They are finally in and they are amazed by the weapons they can see
A chainsaw, pistols, axe, a baton with nails on it, knives, swords, grenades, they were all there.

"I think we all need weapon, I don't know if the guns are working but the swords and all looks sharp enough to slice a glass in perfect twos, So just pick what suits you and let's get out of here, we have 12 more minutes" Ryan says and they all start to look at the weapons in amazement, indecisive they pick up different ones and hold them to see how good it looked on then, Ryan gets a sword and another pistol with bullets, Rochelle gets the baton with nails and Diana gets knives, grenades and a shotgun.

After a few minutes they decide to leave and they walked back to the car in amazement and on their way down the spot a garage where cars where packed, Ryan decided to check out the garage to see if they could do an exchange with a car that has more gas, he checks out different cars and finally got one with the key inside, he kickstarts the car, sees the fuel level and he decides to take it, he drives out of the garage to meet the girls and they got their things from the Lexus and put it in the Benz, then they get back on the road...

"Now, that we have fuel, where do we go and what do we do, isn't there supposed to be a place where survivors are staying, am sure the government is providing shelter, why don't we try finding that?" Rochelle asks and Ryan replies "I want to find my mom first, she might know something about what's happening, all my life I've been having to move from different cities and sometimes countries whenever my mom says so, and a few days ago my mom said it again but I didn't agree and I went to school by force and then this happened, so we need to find her"

"Do you think she knew this was going to happen? Diana asks "I really don't know what to think that's why I want to find her and I'm sure I'll get answers when I see her but I can't just ask you guys to tag along and follow me wherever I go so I was thinking maybe i....... Interrupting Ryan Rochelle says "so you think we would prefer to leave you alone and go our separate ways? I don't know about Diana but I'm ready to go with wherever it is you want to"

"I'm in" Diana says shutting Ryan up and admiring her newly selected weapons and wondering how they work, "So are you going to head back to your place?" Rochelle asks "No no, there's somewhere I think she might be, there's a place she took me to when we got into town and told me to come there if anything happens and I need a place to hide but I can barely remember the way, so I'm going to try to locate it."

After driving for an hour plus, Ryan decides to stop the car and asks the girls to come out and stretch their legs, and maybe ease themselves, it was weird to them that he'd stop when they didn't ask him to but they came down holding their weapons Incase they had to use it, "let me just ease myself upfront there" Ryan says as he walks up a hill ahead of them. "What am I doing, should I just abandon them, I don't even know where I'm going, am I supposed to take them with me, i'm soo confused, Mum I wish you told me more" Ryan thought to himself as he walks up the hill.

He looks up to the sky and sighs, deciding to go back to the girls and tell them to go with the car and try to find a shelter or somewhere to sleep tonight while he keeps searching for this place his mother brought him to that one time, he then sees something in the sky, it was shinning and burning and then bursts out like fireworks, he immediately remembers that his mom said something about flares going up in the sky at the location and he listened closely and tried to look as carefully as possible, he wasn't sure what he saw but he decided to go there.

Going back down the hill, he asks the girls to hop in and he drives off, after about 30minutes he was at the location the flare came from and it seemed familiar, as he drives closer he sees a figure standing in distance, "isn't that someone?" Rochelle asks "we can't be sure, it could be one of those things" Ryan Responds and drives slowly towards the figure holding his pistol. "Whatever that is, they are more than one, I think it's a person, they are waving to the car" Rochelle says as she grips her baton hard.

They were really close to the figures standing now, Ryan tries to determine what he's looking at but it's hard to concentrate when there are two girls freaking out at the back seat but after a close look at a close range he says "I think that's my mom, and my uncle, Oh My God, I think it's my mom" He immediately pulls over at a distance, alights from the car and runs towards the figure, hugging his mom tight, he's normally not much of a hugger so she was shocked but she misses him soo much that she burst into tears.
 
      After accessing the situation outside, the girls decides that it was safe and they came down from the vehicle approaching Ryan and his mum, sorry to interrupt but I really need to use the toilet says Diana, coming out his mum arms Ryan attempts to introduce the girls to his mum, "you must have met Rochelle she's the neighbor's daughter and this is Diana and yes she has the same name as you mum you don't need to make a joke about it please" "Alright girls please come in" Katty says, "who is she Ryan asks his mum  "she's your uncle's Woman and you can follow her I'll be inside with you in a while" She replies and walks towards the car Ryan drove in......
