Don't You Worry Bout A Thing

Chapter 9:

André "baby I brought your matcha, you have to get up. You've gotta appointment", Tori "uh I really don't wanna get out of bed", André "but we are gonna see how your doing, you know cause you've been having all that morning sickness", Tori "why can't I just stay here", André "because this is serious, this is your health we are talking about. I know you are tired and don't really wanna get out of bed but we need to make sure your doing alright", Tori "okay. Okay. I'm getting up my love. I'm getting up. Where's our daughter? Is she sleeping still", André "yeah she's sleeping. But we gotta get going", Tori "I'm up. Let me go get in the shower", André "I'll get in with you", Tori "of course you will", André carried Tori to the bathroom and they got in the shower. Tori "hey hey no being freaky business baby. No freaky business, we are gonna be late", the two of them got out of the shower and started to get ready to leave. Tori "why is this girl still sleeping? I'm sure I heard the alarm go off", Tori went to the bedroom, Tori "baby girl why are you still in bed"? Averie "I'm don't feel very well", Tori "oh my lord. You're so pale baby girl", Averie "I don't feel well", Tori "you don't look good. Babe, can we reschedule my appointment. She's not feeling the best. She's pale, very hot", André "I'll call your mom", Tori "babe", Tori "I'll call her", André "baby you want some water", Averie "no daddy", Laura "hey baby", Tori "hey mom. Could I ask you for a favor", Laura "sure baby girl. What's up", Tori "I have a doctor appointment for the baby. Averie woke up with a fever, and she's really not feeling well. We can't take her with us, please could watch her", Laura "sure I'll be over there soon", Tori "could you come right now. Me and André are running late", Laura "I'll be right there baby", Tori "thanks mom", within few minutes Laura arrived. Tori "mom we'll be back", Laura "okay", Tori "grandma is gonna stay with you while me and daddy go to my appointment. I love you so much bubba", Averie "I love you too mommy", Tori and André left for their appointment. André "how are doing right now", Tori "I'm okay, I'm stomach hurts a bit", André "are you hungry", Tori "we could get something after we leave the hospital", André "okay cool", Tori "yeah", the two of them enjoyed their little car ride to the hospital. André "we're here baby", he said waking Tori up from her nap. Tori "okay", André "alright let's go baby", Tori "okay", they got out of the car and heeded inside the hospital. André checked his wife in at the receptionist desk, and then they sat in the waiting area. Tori "I'm gonna quickly go use the bathroom", André "okay", Tori went off to the bathroom. She dialed her mom, Laura "hey baby", Tori "hey mom", Laura "did ya reach the hospital yet", Tori "yeah we are here. How's my baby", Laura "she's got a fever. It's been up and down, she's not eating anything", Tori "what do you mean she's not eating. She's refusing to eat", Tori "but why. She never does that with you", Laura "she's refusing to eat, yeah because she wants you to feed her. She's wants you, I can only do so much baby", Tori "I appreciate you and just being there with her. We'll be there soon", Laura "okay baby", Tori "mom can I please talk to her", Laura "sure. Hey princess, mommy's on the phone", Averie "mommy", Tori "hi baby girl. Hi my baby. How are you feeling", Averie "I feel very sick mommy. I want you and daddy", Tori "I know baby. I know. Mommy will be down with her appointment soon", Averie "mommy can you buy me something from the store", Tori laughed, "what is it that you want baby", Averie "I want chick fil a", Tori "is that all you want my beautiful princess", Averie "crumble cookies", Tori "okay my love. Be good for grandma", Averie "okay I will momma", Tori "mom I will see you when we get back from our doctor appointment", Laura "okay bye baby". André "doctor just called us", Tori "okay baby", "you must be Tori", Tori "yeah", "and you must be her husband", André "yeah", "so I heard from our receptionist that you wasn't feeling well. The past few days you've been having bad morning sickness", Tori "yeah. I've been constantly vomiting", "how's the baby", Tori "the baby's good", "so your just here for a normal ultrasound check up right", Tori "yeah", Tori lied on the table and lifted her shirt a little bit. The doctor put some gel on her stomach, "okay there's your baby. While your here do you wanna find out the gender of your baby", Tori "yeah", "congratulations you're carrying a boy", André kissed Tori. "Would you like a copy of your ultrasound pictures", Tori "yeah", "I'll be right back with those pictures", André "boy, I'm so happy right now", Tori "me too", after getting the pictures, they scheduled their next appointment. André "finally back home", Tori "not quite. We gotta stop at the store for some medicine, baby wants Chick Fil A, and crumble cookies", André "okay. Why don't you take a nap", Tori "okay", André got everything on their way home and then finally pulled into their driveway. André "baby we're back home", Tori "mmm", André "we're back home baby", Tori "mmm", André "baby wake up", André put the car radio on and blasted Tori's song, she immediately woke up. Tori "sheesh way to wake me up", André "I tried to wake you gently", Tori "it's okay baby", Laura "I think your parents are back home", Averie "where", Laura "look out the front", Averie looked out the window, she happily hopped off of the couch and opened the front door. Averie "mommy", Tori picked her daughter up, Tori "hi princess. You're still pretty warm", Averie "did you get my food momma". Tori "yes princess", Laura "how did the appointment go", Tori "it went great. We actually found out the gender of our baby", Laura "oh my gosh. You did", Tori "yeah", Averie "wait does the gender mean like boy or girl", Tori "yeah it does", Averie "what are you having momma", Tori "your gonna have a little brother", Averie "I've always wanted a baby brother", Laura "congrats baby", Tori "thanks mom", Laura "I'm gonna get going", Tori "okay mom", Averie "mommy I'm hungry", Tori "baby I'm gonna go get changed. Could you give her the food", André "yeah, I got it. Go get settled", Tori "okay". Averie "daddy I need my sauce", André "it's right here baby", Averie "thanks daddy", André "you gonna take some medicine after you eat", Averie "okay daddy", André "you stay here and watch your show, I'm gonna go check on mommy", Averie "okay daddy". André "hey baby", Tori "you know I was about to come out", André "yeah but I wanted to check on you", Tori "I know baby", André "let's go have some dinner", Tori "okay", Tori and André joined their daughter in the living room for dinner. André "I'll throw this out", Tori "baby you have to take your medicine", Averie "okay", Tori "come here", Tori picked her up and sat her on the counter. Tori "open", Averie "I have to take both of those", Tori "do you wanna feel better", Averie "yes mommy", Tori "then open up for me", Averie let Tori give her the medicine, then she became very clingy. Tori "you're getting tired", Averie "no mommy. Can I have a cookie", Tori "yes baby", Averie "do you want one mommy", Tori "no baby. But guess what", Averie "what", Tori "guess who's coming over tomorrow", Averie "who", Tori "auntie JoJo", Averie "really", Tori "yeah", Averie "yay. Mommy I'm tired", Tori "then let's get you to bed", Tori carried her carried her daughter to her bedroom, and put her to sleep. After taking a shower, André and Tori went straight to bed themselves.

The next day.
André "I'm going out to the gym babe", Tori "okay, when you are on your way back could you buy some things from the store", Tori "sure what do you need", Tori "I'll send you the list", André "okay". Tori was in the kitchen making her matcha drink, and since her daughter her daughter was still sleeping she made one for her too.
J: I just landed
T: great, are you taking a cab over to my place?
J: yeah, why do you ask?
T: because I'm paying for your cab
J: you do not have to do that, I've got it
T: are you crazy, you came to visit me. How much is it, I'm gonna send you money
J: if I don't tell you, you'll keep asking
T: yeah
J: 40
T: okay I just sent it, did you get it?
J: yeah, is my niece awake?
T: no she's still asleep, she's bouncing back from a fever
J: I'll be there shortly, I'll let you know when I'm close
T: okay, see you when you get here
J: okay

Tori fed the dogs, then sat on the couch and began scrolling through her social medias. Tori had also cooked breakfast since she wanted to have it finished before her daughter woke up.

J: I'm three minutes away
T: alright I'm coming to the front door
J: okay

Tori opened the door and stood outside, just as the cab pulled up to her house. Tori "I don't know how you could carry all this on a plane", she said laughing, the two of them hugged. JoJo "I need clothes and all my necessities. And maybe two or three things for work", Tori "girl you came here to visit me not work. Lol, but you know I'm always in the studio recording something so I can't complain", JoJo "your house looks so nice, all decked out for the holidays", Tori "yeah. I'm kind of glad our dogs get along because if they didn't", JoJo "I know. Dog fights all day".
