Averie "papi where's mommy", André "she's still sleeping. Do you wanna come with me to get some of her favorite things to surprise her", Averie "yeah", André "where are you going", Averie "to get dressed", André "you could go out like that, come on we gotta hurry before she wakes up", Averie "okay", André put the dogs in the car, and Averie sat in the passenger seat beside her dad. André "strap in", Averie fastened her belt and then André took off. André "let's go get mommy her drink first, and daddy needs his coffee too", Averie "can I get one too papi", André "not coffee but you could get something else", Averie "okay", André "what do you want princess", Averie "can I get a caramel frappe. Please papi", André "okay. But you can't have one with coffee in it", Averie "I know papi", the two of them got the drinks, put them in the car and then they stopped at Target. André "find momma a card", Averie walked through the aisle in search for the perfect card for her mother, André "try and stay close okay", Averie "okay papi", André nearly freaked out when he turned to find his daughter not beside him. Averie got a bit nervous when she had realized she wasn't near her father anymore, she had felt someone grab her by the hand. "Are you lost", Averie "I want my daddy", André "Averie. Where are you", Averie "daddy", she yelled from the other side of the aisle, she ran straight to him wrapping her arms around his waist. André thanked the employee for bringing her to him, André "let's go pay for this and get back home", on the drive back home, André picked up Tori's birthday cake. André "it's still quiet. I think momma's still sleeping. Let's set this up and then make her some breakfast", Averie "okay", she sat beside her father, writing in the card. As André started cooking dinner, Averie stood on her dad's shoulders. Once breakfast was ready, André set it on a tray, Averie "do I hold her balloons and cards", André "yes baby. Come on let's go wake mommy", Tori was already awake scrolling through her phone, the brightest smile appeared on her face as she say both her daughter and husband enter the room. André "happy birthday beautiful", Tori "thanks baby", Averie "happy birthday momma", Tori "thank you my sweet girl. This is all so lovely. Thank you for all of this. Hey why do you look so down my little lovie", André "had a little bit of a scare while we were out", Tori "what happened", she said looking at André with the slightest bit of concern on her face. André "I told her to pick out a card for you, she had went to the end of the aisle not knowing I was gonna be moving to another aisle to get your balloons and some extra things. She nearly got lost", Tori could tell her daughter was a bit overwhelmed with them speaking about it, she had broken down in tears, Tori "aww honey", Tori pulled her into her lap and hugged her. Tori "did someone help her get back to you", André "yeah, a nice employee helped us out", Tori "honey it's okay. No need to be scared", André "I'm gonna go take the dogs for an actual walk, need anything before I go", Tori "no babe", André "do you want to come with me princess", Averie "no I wanna stay with mommy", André "alright you two I'll be back in a bit", Tori "alright babe", Tori had her breakfast her daughter fell asleep right beside her. André "I'm back. You let her fall asleep", Tori "babe leave her. She was whining and really needed a nap", André "aren't we going out", Tori "not until later. She could use her rest", André "but we have to get ready to leave", Tori "don't worry about her, I will get her ready. Leave that to me, she needs the nap or else she's gonna be cranky", André "okay fair enough", Tori "thanks for breakfast, it was amazing", André "you're welcome, do you wanna take a shower with me", Tori "yes", after cleaning up in the kitchen, the two of them climbed into the shower. Tori "what", André "nothing, just admiring how beautiful my wife is", Tori blushed, "thank you babe. You know since our daughter is sleeping we should really take advantage of the time we have right about now", André "are you suggesting what I think you are saying", Tori "yeah", the two of them started kissing, André gently pushed Tori against the wall in their shower, the both of them sitting down in the tub. Tori rested her head on the railing of the tub, André went down on his wife. The two of them had been focused on their little session together too busy to hear their daughter crying. Tori "shh", André "what happened", Tori turned off the water, the both of them finally heard her cry. André "I didn't know she was crying", Tori "yeah I do, we were too busy doing our own thing to even realize", Tori got out wrapping herself in her towel and rushed to the room. Tori "mommy's here", she said picking her up, Averie "mommy why did you leave", she cried terribly, Tori "mommy's so sorry. I'm so sorry my lovie".
