Later that day, Angel invited me out at 4pm. She brought me somewhere peaceful with no trees around and we waited there until twilight. She's sitting beside me and I enjoy her presence. I leaned my head on her shoulder as we stare at the beauty of the sunset.

"Sunset is beautiful, isn't it?" She whispered while gazing still at the golden rays of the sun. I stopped leaning on her, and spoke, "Yeah... but its beauty can never comfort me if I'll hear your voice saying goodbye."

She turned at me with a gloomy look. "Please don't say such things." She said and held my hand. "I... I'm sorry. I hope you won't overthink about that." I stated as I caressed her face. She looks sad and I feel bad, so I lifted her chin up and leaned closer. I closed my eyes as I slowly kissed her on the lips with the golden sun as the witness.

I felt nervous while my whole digestive system thrown a party, as my entire cardiovascular system united with my endocrine system starts a choir having my circulatory and respiratory system danced upbeat leaving my muscular and skeletal system melted, as my nervous system together with my reproductive system had their fireworks.

And I can testify how my face starts to ripe as it increased its temperature with the inclining pressure on the atmosphere. This was the first time I'm kissing a girl and I have no idea how to do it right yet. The kiss lasted for, I guess, a couple of minutes then I gently moved away and slowly opened my eyes.

Angel look flustered and her face was all red. She just bowed her head down and started on being cute like a little strawberry for real. "I... I didn't expect that you're a good kisser..." she said that even flattered my entire system. "I-I am?"

"Yeah... really." She responded and it's a little hard to believe, but thanks to the book I once read. "I don't think I'm believing. I mean, it's my first kiss..." I said, lifting my eyes on her. "Well, we might have it the same..."

We've been taken away with the moment and haven't realized the time. Before we knew it, the sun is already down and the skies are getting darker. I stand up and spoke, "I guess, we shall return home now..." I said as I held her hand and helped her get up.

We hold hands as we walk back to our home. We keep on talking while walking until we ran out of topics to say. We're in our silent mode while passing the tallgrass prairie with grasses that reaching our thighs. But suddenly, she pointed her finger at something.

I felt relieved realizing that it's a firefly she's pointing. I thought it's something else. A moment more, some other fireflies are emerging around us. They are so beautiful and this was the first time I witnessed such this. "It's my first time to see this phenomenon. Nature is so beautiful..." Angel whispered. "Indeed, me too..."

This moment is just beyond imagination. To be with your wife in the middle of a thousand tiny living lamps is so dreamy. I was so overwhelmed that I just found myself holding Angel's both hands while kissing her on the forehead.
