ammon looked away from his laptop when his phone started ringing. Asmodeus was calling, video calling at that. He quickly picked up the phone and placed it to the side where it was still facing him so he could keep working.

"Hey, Oz, what's up?" He immediately took notice of Ozzie's anxious expression. "You okay?"

"Yeah...well, kinda. I'm just a little nervous is all. Auditions are tomorrow and I'm not sure if I'm ready for it or not," he said, fidgeting a lot with the strings of the dark green hoodie he wore, which was obviously Mammon's hoodie.

Mammon chuckled, "not ready? Babe, you've been working on your song all week. I'm sure you're more than ready for it."

"Still, I'm not so sure. I actually called to ask if you wanted to come over. I want your opinion." Mammon, of course, couldn't say no. How could anyone say no to such an innocent request from a cute face like Ozzie's.

"Yeah, sure. I didn't want to do this stupid math homework anyway. Be there in like, ten minutes maybe. That okay?"

Asmodeus nodded and smiled, "thanks, Mam! Love you!"

"Love you too."

Asmodeus met Mammon at the door, hesitating a bit before giving him a hug. He was still a little nervous about hugging Mammon without asking first. Mammon has been telling him not to for weeks now.

After a quick greeting, Asmodeus led Mammon to his room where Mammon quickly made himself comfortable. It wasn't his first time being there.

"Did you want anything? You can help yourself to anything in the kitchen if you want. I did bring in a coke and a bottle of water for you. I grabbed some water for myself, so I just grabbed you one just in case," Ozzie said, blushing a little bit.

"You know me so well, babe," Mammon said as he cracked open the coke, "now, what's next?"

Asmodeus grabbed a small packet off of his desk and passed it to Mammon, "I want to run through my song if that's okay with you." He was still clearly very nervous seeing as he was still twirling the hoodie strings around his fingers.

"Sounds good, though I wanna do something first. C'mere." Asmodeus hesitated for a moment but did as he was told. He yelped when Mammon quickly pulled him onto his lap, holding him tightly. "Relax, it's just a quick cuddle sesh." After hearing that, Asmodeus slowly relaxed into Mammon's hold, gently wrapping his arms around Mammon's neck and resting his head against his shoulder.

"Did I do something wrong?" Ozzie asked timidly.

"Nah, you're just nervous as hell. I wanted to help you relax a bit, it'll help you be more confident with your singing and make the sound better," Mammon said.

Ozzie smiled a bit and squeezed Mammon a little tighter. That was Mammon's clue that Ozzie was grateful and appreciative of his gesture.

They stayed like that for just a few minutes until Ozzie felt more relaxed. Mammon let him go when he felt the tension leave Ozzie's body and when he felt the boys grip around him loosen, a signal that he wanted to get up.

"Better?" Mammon asked.

Ozzie blushed and smiled, "yeah. Thanks, Mam."

Mammon smiled and pecked Ozzie's cheek, "no prob. Now let's hear that angelic voice of yours. What show is this anyway?"

Ozzie perked up, "The Hunchback of Notre Dame! We were allowed to audition for a few characters like Quasimodo, Frollo, Esmerelda, Febus, and Clopin. I decided on Quasi since I preferred his character over the others, and I liked singing his songs. There were two options for a song for this audition: Heaven's Light and Out There. Heaven's Light is the shorter, slower, and prettier one, but I think Out There lets me show off more."

"So, it makes since why you chose that one," Mammon said. Ozzie nodded.

"Yeah. I've listened to it a lot and I've worked on singing it with the accompaniment I found."

"Then I'm sure this'll sound great. Let's hear it."

Ozzie smiled and loaded up the accompaniment, taking a deep breath as the into began to play. Mammon took a look at the packet Ozzie made for him, it was the sheet music so he could look at the lyrics if he wanted, though he was fairly certain that Ozzie would get the lyrics right.

At the start, Ozzie had his eyes closed, scared of looking at Mammon's expression. What if he didn't like it? What if he sounded bad? Mammon would wait until later to mention it, for now, he would just sit back and enjoy the sound of Ozzie's sweet yet strong voice.

Gradually as the song progressed, Ozzie became more confident, just as Quasimodo did. He slowly opened his eyes, happy when he saw Mammon sitting there just looking at him with a smile on his face.

Then the moment came at last, the end of the song, the final note. Not only would he have to hit it, but he would have to hold it for a good while.

C'mon, Ozzie, you can do this. Mammon believes in you, and you've worked so hard on this. You can do it.

"Just to live one day out there!" He did it! He hit it! And not only that, but he held it!

Once the song concluded and Ozzie stopped singing, Mammon clapped for him. Ozzie took a deep breath and looked at Mammon nervously.

"How was that? Be honest," Ozzie asked, his hands moving back to the hoodie strings.

"I knew it would be great. You sounded amazing, Oz. My only thing would be that you can't have your eyes closed for the beginning of the song. Be confident from the start because I guarantee you'll sound even better tomorrow," Mammon said, causing Ozzie to blush and look away due to the praise.

"You promise you're not lying just to make me feel better?"

Mammon stood up and walked over to his boyfriend, wrapping his arms around Ozzie's waist. "You of all people should know that I'd tell you if it was shit." He pecked Ozzie's lips. "It was perfect."

A/N: My musical this year is The Hunchback of Notre Dame, which is why I decided to make that Ozzie's musical too. I auditioned for Quasi too, but I didn't get the part unfortunately. It's not that I didn't do good, my director just said that they needed a strong tenor in the ensemble (since the show is really ensemble heavy and needs strong singers). I did get the role of Saint Aphrodeseus, though, so I still get a solo! Just a little rant of mine
