Lovefool~

Greece glides down the stairs, her chiton wrapped around her perfectly, swaying with the morning breeze as the light perfectly frames her, like an ancient marble statue. Her mind wanders towards her mother's words, but she quickly brushes them off and continues down the stairs. She wanders out the door of her house and into the temple, pausing before a statue and quickly turning on her heel to leave with her shameful thoughts clouding her mind.

Love me, love me, say that you love me...

"Fool me, fool me, go on and fool me," Greece lectures herself as she prepares breakfast for herself. 

"Good morning!" Y/N shouts from the doorway before swiftly embracing Greece in a hug. Feeling her face warm, she coughs and Y/N distances herself. "Right, sorry," she laughs.

 Love me, love me, pretend that you love me...

"Leave me, leave me," Greece whispers as she turns to her food once more. Y/N's grin turns melancholic as she turns to leave Greece to her own devices.

 Closing the door shut, Y/N slides against the cool wood and buries her head in her hands, "Why can't she just say that she needs me..." 

So they cry and they beg to the skies for any kind of sign that the other reciprocates her feelings.

Love me, love me, say that you love me, leave me, leave me, say that you need me... 

"I don't care 'bout anything but you..." Y/N whispers from her window.

...

"Lately, I have desperately pondered, spent my nights awake and I wonder, what I could have done in another way," Greece rambles as she paces throughout her library, gathering books absentmindedly. To make her stay, "Reason will not lead to a solution, I will end up lost in confusion..." her brows furrow at the thought before she shakes her head and resumes her task. 

Y/N smiles to herself from behind a bookshelf, "I don't care if you really care, as long as you don't go." 

Greece cries to herself as she prays to the sky, "Love me, love me, say that you love me, fool me, fool me, go on and fool me..."

"Love me, love me, pretend that you love me," Y/N softly sings.

Greece walks onto the balcony, "Leave me, leave me, say that you need me," she sings as she falls to the floor and sobs. 

So I cry and I beg for you to...

"Love me, love me," Greece whispers as she falls asleep.

Greece opens her eyes only to squeeze them shut at the bright sun. She slowly sits up and yawns, resisting the urge to rub the sleep from her eyes. Stretching, she feels a cloth slide off of her shoulders. It's a blanket, but who could've put it over her without waking her up?

Y/N knocks on the door before opening it quickly.

"Y/N-" Greece says with a start. Y/N offers Greece her hand and waits for her to take it before helping Greece to her feet. "What are you doing?" Greece asks as Y/N grabs ahold of her other hand with her own. 

"Please forgive me," Y/N whispers in Greece's ear, causing shivers down her spine.

"What-" Greece is cut off abruptly by Y/N.

Y/N steps forward and Greece steps back, pressed against the metal railing with Y/N leaning over her.

"Love me, love me, say that you love me! Leave me, leave me, say that you need me," Y/N sings as she spins Greece, "love me, love me, pretend that you love me..." Y/N trails off mournfully.
