I took Rudolph's hand and so did Tony. I made sure Tony had his pajamas in a reachable place so when we got home we could immediately dress him.
Rudolph grinned briefly at us, then zoomed into the cool night air.
The same prickly feeling dropped in my stomach. Now it didn't bother me. I actually enjoyed it now. I liked the feeling of excitement and anticipation.
Rudolph suddenly curved right, and headed to the part of the graveyard where the huge tomb things were stored.
I almost was about to question him about it, when a huge bleeping behind us made me jump.
Bright headlights flashed. I almost groaned. The stupid man was tracking us down! AGAIN!
Rudolph hissed and dove down, sky-rocketing to the ground as if we were going to be drilled into it, but gently landed.
We began to run. The truck was faster than us, but it was too dangerous to fly. Rudolph could get seriously hurt.
I gripped Tony's hand to make sure he was safe. Rudolph jumped into a entrance in the ground, and beckoned us to follow.
Tony lept down next to Rudolph, and their eyes glinted with impatience.
"Come on Elizabeth!" Tony shouted, waving his tiny hands around.
I took a glance behind me, and saw how close the truck was, and was about to jump when a huge hand clutched my shoulder.
Panic swept through my body. Slowly, my eyes met the one's of the same man I had seen the previous day.
"Whatcha doing down there?" he questioned in a gruff voice.
All I could manage was a hysteric squeak.
He laughed in a cruel way, then whispered in my ear, "It's a little early to be playing with the vampires, isn't it?"
I began to hyperventilate, and the man laughed again. He gripped my hand and began to drag me to his car.
"Help! Help!" I suddenly managed to find my voice, although it was quiet and crackly.
He put a dirty hand over my mouth. I bit it, and almost vomited from the awful taste.
"Shut up!" he yelled, throwing me in his truck.
"Help! Tony! Rudolph! Anna! Fredrick! Freda!" I screamed out the window.
The man shoved my head back in and rolled up the dusty windows, locking them. "You're not goin' anywhere," he growled.
I banged on the windows, howling and shouting. Tears streamed down my face. Truth was, I was terrified. I was never in any kind of situation like this. I didn't even know self-defense. All I knew was to kick a man's crotch and run away. Unforunately, I don't think that was going to work.
The man began the truck up, and quickly swerved out of the grass, trailing the road. I tried to unlock the doors and windows, but they were sealed tightly. "Let me go!" I wailed, fiddling with the seatbelt lock.
He slapped my hand away painfully. I drew back a breath in shock, and fear.
Abruptly, my eye caught something in the sky. A figure moving. I was going to be saved, hopefully.
