"What do you mean by no more seats left in the hostel !?"

I asked getting frustrated.

"I'm so sorry ma'am! But there no seats left for you. You may come next year"

The receptionist said making me more mad.

"Is this some kind of joke or what!? Next year!? I don't have that much time! I need to study in this hostel from this year onwards. I even passed my entrance exam then why can't I take admission here !??"

"Ma'am please calm down! Even I can't do anything about this. Please try to under-"

"Enough!! I know you can't do anything but atleast suggest me a way!! Now what should I do!? My parents have sent me here so that I can study properly. I can't just go back to them with such disappointment!"

I bursted out loosing my control.

"That's it! I'm trying to be cool with you but you're yelling at me nonstop. Yes I know this hostel is important for you but no seats are available in girl's hostel. What can we do!??"

I sighed deeply listening to her.

"Yeah I think it's better to leave now. You're useless"

I was about to get up from my place.

"Excuse me?? I am useless!? You're the one who is disrespecting me since the beginning. If studying in this hostel is that much important for you, then why don't you go in boy's hostel? Talking to me like that-"

"Is this possible!? Can I study in boy's hostel??"

I asked curiously and she gave me a confused look.

"A-Are you serious??"

She asked still in surprise.

"Of course! This is not the time to joke.
Tell me! Can I??"

"Oh my god! I think you've gone totally crazy. It's better if you leave from here and let me do my work"

She said as she moved her eyes to the computer screen in front of her.

"Yah! I'm not crazy. Just tell me. What do I need to do to take admission in boy's hostel? Dress up like a boy? That's it!"

I said raising my eyebrows.

"What the hell are you talking about?? To take admission in a boy's hostel, you need to BE a boy!! What do you think? You will dress up like a boy and fool the whole hostel!? So childish"

She replied shaking her head.

"I can do that! Please I'm begging you!! Help me to take admission there please!

I said with pleading eyes.

"God!! Why did I even mention the boy's hostel? Ma'am plea-"

"I will pay you for this"

I said cutting her words.

"W-What!?"

Her expression changed and she slightly raised her eyebrows.

"I said I'll give you money if you help me to take admission in boy's hostel. I know I should be in girl's hostel but I don't have any choice right now. These two hostels are best hostels in my parents eyes. They saved all this money so that I can study here. Please do something"

I requested her and she thought for a minute.

"Well, it's not easy at all. I mean, I can change your gender in the hostel's documents but if the principal come to know about this, we both are dead. Especially I don't want to loose my job at any cost"

"I will make sure that I hide my gender perfectly. No one will know that I'm a girl. I just need to study for two years in this hostel and take my degree"

Receptionist let out a sigh while removing her glasses.

"Ok then. As you have already passed your entrance exam, there's no need to give it again. I will ready all your important papers for the hostel. Just need some details from you. You can attend the classes from monday"

She said making me smile ear to ear.

"Thank you so so much!! I will pay you as much as I can. I may take my leave now"

I got up and was leaving from there with a wide smile on my face when she again stopped me.

"Yeah but don't forget, Your gender is secret"
