3. Making new friends

It's 8:00 pm and you were standing in the balcony of corridor, feeling the cool breeze on your skin.

'Aah! From tomorrow onwards, I will have my classes in this hostel. Now I feel like this is impossible. I can't do this. But at the same time, I feel like I have to do this. I have already told my parents that I finally got admission here. Although I didn't tell them that I'm going in boy's hostel instead of girl's hostel. Otherwise they wouldn't have let me come here. But I don't want to disappoint them anymore and want to do everything which makes them happy. Now I can't go back until I complete two years in this hostel. *sigh* Come on Y/n, you've got this'

You were talking to yourself. Trying to cheer yourself up. Although the thing you are doing is wrong but your intentions were never wrong. Anyways, who knows what the fate has decided for you.

"Talking to yourself ha?"

A manly voice came from behind, making you widened your eyes. You gulped and quickly turned around.

"Namjoon?"

Again you tried your best to sound like a guy.

He came closer with a small smile on his face which slightly showed his dimples. And stood beside you, leaning his body towards the railing.

"Are you nervous?"

He asked softly, looking at you.

"Hmm...a lot"

You replied as you looked down from the balcony.

"Don't think too much. You will be alright"

He said, making you look at his face and you saw him giving a comforting smile. Didn't know how, but that kinda relived you. And you smiled back.

"Well, I'm nervous and excited at the same time"

He continued talking while staring at the sky.

"Yeah, I can understand"

You too looked at the sky which was dark and few stars were shining brightly.

"Where are you from though?"

He asked, moving his eyes back to you.

"Me...ah I'm from Seoul. And you?"

"Ilsan"

You nodded as your lips formed in O shape.

"It's getting late. Shall we go for dinner?"

He asked and you agreed "Yeah, let's go"

You both started walking to the mess. Somehow, you were blushing internally. God knows what did this man do to you but you felt safe around him.

While walking in the corridor, you saw two boys. And they were fighting (?) Yes, they were actually grabbing each other's collar while giving death glares. When you looked closely, you found both of them familiar.

"What are they even doing??" Are they going to kill each other!?"

Namjoon said, making you look at him. But he ran towards those boys to stop the fight. You followed him. When you reached near, you recognised them.

"Jungkook? Jin?"

You mumbled to yourself.

"Woah! Guys, what's wrong with y'all?? You both are literally fighting in middle of the corridor"

Namjoon said, trying to separate them.

"This idiot kid deserves this!"

Jin said as he slightly pushed Jungkook's shoulder.

"Yah! Who is acting like a kid exactly?"

Jungkook replied, getting annoyed.

"I think you both wanna get expelled from the hostel even before our classes start. Just continue your fight in your rooms or somewhere. But please leave the corridor. What if someone catch you like this?"

Namjoon said, trying to make them understand.

"Wah man! You are worried about the rules and regulations of this hostel instead of our fight"

Jin said, shaking his head.

"Because he is a well mannered man. Unlike you who always thinks about himself"

Jungkook commented, making Jin more mad.

"You idoit-"

Jin again tried to grab Jungkook by his collar when Namjoon stopped him.
"Yah! Hajima!!"

You were watching all this drama while standing a little far in a corner. Then suddenly Jungkook's eyes landed on you.

"You?"

He said, coming towards you.

"You know him?"

Namjoon asked but Jungkook didn't bother to answer him and stood right in front of you. He slightly bowed to you, making you confused.

"Uhm..what are you doing? Jungkook?"

You asked, looking at him as he kept bowing down in front of you.

"Ah! It's so embarrassing that you remember my name but I forgot yours. Anyways, I just wanted to say sorry to you as I didn't get chance that time"

"Oh! No no, that's alright"

You held his shoulders to make him stand straight.

"And..actually I never told you my name haha"

"Oo! Then let's introduce each other properly. I'm Jungkook"

He extended his hand for a handshake.

"Hansung"

You said, shaking his hand.

"So I guess, I missed something"

Namjoon said coming close to you and Jungkook.

"Yeah nothing, Jungkook just lost his way this morning and went into Hansung's room assuming it's his room"

Jin replied to him.

"Ah so that's how y'all met haha"

Namjoon chuckled.

After that, you all talked for a bit and left together for dinner. You realised that they're not that bad. You can be friends with them. It's just that you have to be careful.
