You, Namjoon, Jin, Jungkook and Hoseok were roaming in the corridor after having dinner. You guys were just talking casually, making jokes, laughing and all. Then you spot some familiar figures near the balcony.
"Taehyung Jimin.." You mumbled before going towards them. Everyone looked at you as you left all of a sudden.
"Yah Y/n-" Hoseok said and immediately closed his mouth with his hands before speaking further.
"I mean..H-Hansung!" He said awkwardly looking at others to see if they noticed him. Everyone made their way towards you and Hoseok thought he got saved.
"If I'm not wrong, you're Taehyung and Jimin, right?" Namjoon asked, standing next to you.
Taehyung nodded with a small smile on his face. The unknown tension was visible on both of their faces.
"Oh! Yes, I remember you. You were the one getting bullied earlier" Hoseok said, pointing at Jimin. All got shocked by the word 'bullied'.
"Bullying!?" Jin asked, surprised.
"Yes, Jimin was getting bullied by some boys and then he came to save him. Hansung and I saw from the window"
"Yes! I was so scared while watching them. It's good that Taehyung came at the right time. But.. why were they bullying you, Jimin?" You added.
They both looked at each other before Taehyung started speaking.
"Actually they all were our classmates in school. I was friends with them without even knowing that they bully students and make them do their homework and all. Jimin was a newcomer in our school. They started bullying him but I stopped them. Finally, I got to know what kind of people they all are and I broke friendship with them. I got close with Jimin and we became best friends. I consider him as my soulmate"
He said the last words, looking at Jimin with a warm smile. Jimin smiled back and started speaking.
"But they always tried to bully me because I stole their friend. I never knew how to handle or fight back with a situation like this. They all were four and I was the only one. But atleast I was not alone. Taehyung didn't leave me and always stood by me. We successfully completed our school. But unfortunately, we met them here again"
By hearing their story, you were speechless. How can someone be this cruel to bully a person like this!? But at the same time, you were impressed with Tae and Jimin's friendship. How Taehyung never left his soulmate's side and is still helping him in this situation.
"Ah what terrible people they are. I'm gonna punch them on their faces when I see them" Jungkook said, making you smile.
"Yes, for real. Jimin Taehyung, you guys don't need to worry about anything now. Think of us as your friends and we will fight with them together. Right guys?" You said, looking at others.
"Yeah, of course. We will be with you guys" Namjoon replied.
"Tell those ugly bitches that we have a friend in our group who is a martial artist" Jin said, flexing Jungkook's muscles while Jungkook felt all proud. Y'all laughed, trying to make both of them feel relieved.
"You guys are the best. Thank you so much for all this" Taehyung said as his boxy smile appeared again on his face.
"Yeah, we were stressed as we didn't want this thing to spread all over the hostel and then face various rumours. Those bullies are rich brats. And money speaks louder than anything in today's world. We couldn't have get anything even after complaining about them. I just hate it. This evening, we received a threat letter from them" Jimin said, showing a small piece of paper.
"Go to hell you both. You deserve poison in your food"
Your eyes widened, reading it.
"What an ugly handwriting is this" A voice came out of nowhere and y'all looked in its direction. You got more shocked by looking at the person.
"Sir!?" Namjoon said, equally surprised.
"Yeah, me. Now don't get too shocked" He walked towards you all and took the paper from Jimin's hand.
"You..You are Min Yoongi, right? The new lecturer" Hoseok asked.
"Yes, I am. And I was standing here since you guys started talking so I heard all your conversation" He said, tearing the paper into pieces.
"And I've decided to help you all because I found you guys interesting" He added.
"It's bad manners to eavesdrop, you know" Taehyung said and you looked at him surprised as how he could talk like this to a professor.
"Yah, who are you? If I'm being nice and want to help, can't you just appreciate it?? Although I'm your senior, your professor"
"I-I am sorry on behalf of him. He is just like this. Please don't mind, sir" Jimin apologized, showing the most squishy face ever.
"Ah you are too sweet to get bullied, Park Jimin. But I'm glad that this boy was by your side all this time. That's a true friend. And think of me as your hyung, ok" Yoongi patted Jimin's back, making him smile and Jimin nodded in response.
All of you talked for a bit and got to know more about each other. Out of curiosity, y'all asked Yoongi about his age as he was so friendly with you guys even after being your professor. And he explained how he is gaining his experience of teaching from here so that he can go abroad to make his career as a professor. This hostel was his uncle's known so he got the job here easily.
"It's getting late now. You all have classes tomorrow. Go get some sleep" He said and everyone made their way towards their rooms after saying good bye.
You all were leaving from there when Yoongi stopped Hoseok without letting anyone notice. After everyone left, Hoseok looked at Yoongi, waiting for him to speak.
"Who is Y/n?"
