"Done" I heard the Sanjeev dada, my makeup artist say as he finished my makeup for the fashion show which is probably in one hour. I looked at my instagram post one last time making sure everything is perfect before uploading it.

I quickly changed into the dress that I'm supposed to wear for the runaway, it is a beautiful light pink embroidered lehenga with a deep v neck blouse and a net dupatta.
The makeup was kept very natural with only a tinted moisturiser, mascara and nude lipstick , just as I liked. Sanjeev dada has been from the start with me and he knows I'm not at all okay with those heavy makeup looks as it just turns out worse in reality and especially on my sensitive skin.
I turned towards the door as I heard it opening only to look at my childhood best friend, Kaira Goenka, the host of this fashion show. She owns the brand 'Aarie' and today is the launch, here in London. For this exact reason I had to be here to be the closing model.
She pulled me into one of her hugs saying "You look stunning babe"
"Of course , as this dress is designed by you an-" I replied only to be cut by her
