19. You look mine!

1st January, 10 am, Rathore farmhouse

V A N Y A ' S P O V

Sunrays peeked through the curtains making their way directly on my face. I sat up straight, stretching a little when my eyes fell on Ansh who was sleeping not so peacefully on the couch. His hands folded on his chest and his head tilted on the other side, with his legs making their way out of the couch as it was small for his size.

Making my way towards him, I covered him with the blanket which was hanging. He looked so cute while sleeping as if it's a baby. No one would have any idea that this cute person is always grumpy.

His eyelashes are so pretty, Mahadev!!

'Touchwood' I said silently.

Moving a strand of hair from his face, I ran my fingers through his hair. Noticing a small smile on his face, a smile automatically formed on my face. I traced his forehead moving towards his jawline with my forefinger moving slightly close to his lips which had a soft smile playing along the entire time. As soon as I removed my finger from his face, the smile dropped and a frowned face came into my view.

'God he is so cute,' I thought in my mind and lightly pulled his right cheek.

After I pulled his cheeks, he suddenly held my wrist, making me shocked.

'Was he awake the entire time?' questioning no one in particular, but still his eyes were closed and he was sleeping.

Keeping my hand on his chest, I felt his heartbeat, as if he had just run a race.

'Oh, pretending to be asleep?' 

Freeing myself from his grip, I kissed his right cheek as he stirred in his sleep.

As I was proceeding or more like acting to leave, he pulled me from my waist causing me to fall on him.

"Yaha baki hai" he said with eyes half open in his deep husky voice, pointing at his left cheek making my cheeks go red.

(Here, you left)

"Kya hua? Yaha aur yaha bhi baki hai, jaldi" he added pointing at his forehead and lips. 

(What happened? See over here and also here you left, quickly)

"I-I knew you were awake, that's why" I said trying to get up when he hummed and threw his arms around me almost hugging me saying "I want to sleep more"

"Toh sleep na.. and let me go."

"No"

"Ansh-" I called for the nth time lightly patting his chest, while he had a small smile on his face on seeing me like this.

As I was about to say something he caught me off guard by kissing me on my cheek.

"Are you done? Let me leave before anyone sees me, Ansh" I said, showing him my puppy eyes.

"Please, five more minutes sunflower," he said in his baby voice trying to win, and obviously that worked and my stomach did that thing whenever he was near me.

I gave him a forehead kiss and stayed there for five more minutes.

"Okay now I need to go, Ansh"

He made a sad face, almost convincing me to stay here. "Please" I requested with a puppy face and he soon understood and left me. I quickly got up and was about to give him a little peck on his lips, but he had other thoughts.

He pulled me closer by my nape and didn't leave my lips until I was breathless.

"You- I will see you later" I said and quickly ran from there as my cheeks were crimson red and I was panting really bad.
